The sun had just begun to cast its golden hues across the palace grounds as Kazia woke to the soft knock on her door. It was Aldana, the head servant, her stern face softened with a hint of concern.

"Good morning, Kazia," she greeted, her voice tinged with worry. "The King is waiting for you. He wants you to accompany him outside the palace. You should prepare yourself."

Kazia nodded, her eyes flickering with a mix of annoyance and resignation.
