The night air was cool and filled with an eerie calmness as Kazia followed the silent guard through the winding, hidden passages of the palace. Her heartbeat quickened, and she felt the restless energy coursing through her.

She had been informed that someone from Beta Severus would come to see her in the middle of the night, and that moment had finally arrived.

Kazia had left her door ajar, sitting on her bed, awake and alert, awaiting the guard's arrival. She understood the importance of discretion; getting caught during this secret outing was not an option.

The guard entered her room, and she couldn't help but notice the respect in his demeanor as he bowed his head. She quietly and steadily got out of bed, following his lead without saying a word.
