Lena knelt before me, her face down in shame, her shoulders trembling.

I'd asked my uncle to leave us alone, seeking a one-on-one confrontation.

My injuries had begun healing, but weakness lingered, making every movement ache.

"Who are you?" I demanded, my voice firm but laced with curiosity.
