I clenched my fist tightly and punched the wall beside me. Some part of the wall cracked, and I scoffed. I took a deep breath as I tried to control the anger that seeped through my veins.

I was angry that Asher refused to listen to me before leaving. Not only did he have sex with her, but he also wanted to accept the unborn child as his child. It was unacceptable!

I felt heartbroken and sad when I remembered how he called me a bad person because I told him to instruct Jessica to abort the pregnancy.

Truly, I didn't want her to abort the pregnancy but I wanted to use Asher to threaten her so that she could spill what was in her mind. I felt she was hiding something under her sleeves.
