Chapter 41: Sad Reality

"I don't want to have anything to do with you," my heart clenched in pain as I made this statement to Asher who looked sad and heartbroken.

I glared at him with a cold and fierce look, and he shook his head with a sigh.

"Please try to listen to me," he tried to make me believe but I can't bring myself to listen to him because he has no proof to show.

I feel bad for slapping him but again I feel he deserved it. He went on to have a good time with his girlfriend even without rejecting me. He cheated on me.

I snapped my head at Lilian who lowered her head in fear. I couldn't believe she could join hands with Asher to pull a stupid stunt on me.

I'm angry that he thinks he can make me forgive him with a bouquet and a display of fireworks art.
