I went to my room and I quickly got some clothes on and I needed to run to the other side of the territory to get to the packhouse which took me about an hour to get there. That’s how far the Alpha wanted us away from him.

Leo was standing out the front of the packhouse and I saw all the commotion going on around the packhouse and when I saw Owen standing on the veranda comforting a crying Olivia, I knew that this wasn’t going to be good. And they were definitely behind this somehow.

Leo stopped me before I got to the packhouse and he pulled me away from everyone else. He had a tight grip on my arm and was ordering me away from the scene immediately.

But once we were out of earshot of everyone else he loosened his grip on my arm.

“What the hell is going on?” I asked, completely confused.

“Your father has been accused of secually assaulting several teenage girls. Olivia and her friends. All the girls that you go to school with.” Leo explained. And I put my head down and shook it while I was pinching the bridge of my nose.

“Alright. My father is a lot of things, but he’s not a rapist.” I say.

“No. Their not accusing him of rape. Just sexual assault. Touching them inappropriately and more to the point, attempted rape.” Leo said. And I scoffed.

“Yeah. Because if they did an exam then there wouldn’t be any proof of rape. That’s why it’s attempted rape. This is bullshit.” I say.

“I know. But right now, there’s nothing that you can do. Just go home and wait to hear from me. The Alpha is going to talk to your father. Probably put him under Alpha command to find out if it’s true.” Leo explained.

“Wait a minute. My dad is a drunk. He can’t remember what happened tonight when he hit me over the head with a bottle. How the hell is the Alpha going to get the truth out of him?” I asked.

“I don’t know. And I don’t know if they're really looking for the truth. You need to brace yourself for whatever happens here.”

So I looked over at Owen and Olivia and Owen was giving me a filthy stare when I turned around and started walking home.

I didn’t know what I was going to do now. I was thinking about it the whole way home. I couldn’t miss any school, but I knew that things were going to be so much worse for me there now. No one would have any sympathy for me and I would be getting attacked by people that previously didn’t bother with me. These were serious allegations and there’s no way people at school are going to think that my dad is innocent. No one will.

I know that I was only thinking of how worse it was going to be for me right now, but that’s because I couldn’t bring myself to think of how bad it’s going to be for dad. If he is put under Alpha command, the most he will be able to say is ‘I don’t know’ or ‘I can’t remember’. Which is the truth. He’s a drunk. But even I know that he’s not capable of doing anything like that. It was completely ridiculous.

I decided that it was best if I didn’t go to school that day, or to work. News like this spreads around a wolf pack like wildfire. Everyone will be talking about it at school.

So I went back home and I sat on the couch trying to think of how I could help my father. But that was almost impossible when I didn’t know when the offenses occurred. It was impossible for me to know because no one is talking to me. No one wants to talk to me. They won’t tell me what the hell is going on.

I went to do a couple loads of laundry and hung them up to dry and then I cleaned my room and the bathroom and I scrubbed every surface in the bathroom.

I was getting more anxious as the day went on and I was waiting to hear from Leo, but there was nothing. And I didn’t want to message him in case someone else saw it.

I went to my father’s room and the whole room smelled of stale sweat and alcohol. So I open the window and I started picking up his washing to put in the machine and I cleaned his floor and vacuumed it and I made his bed and threw out all of the empty alcohol bottles that littered the place.

But as I was looking around the house there was a lot more work to be done. So I went to the kitchen and started scrubbing every surface in there as well.

I looked out the window and I saw that the sun was starting to go down. I realized that I hadn’t eaten in two days and I still wasn’t hungry. I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t sleep. I had to keep myself busy otherwise I was going to drive myself crazy.

But then I heard pounding on the door and my stomach sank. I didn’t know who it was or what they wanted, but by the sound of the banging, they weren’t here for a friendly chat.

I then heard Owen screaming my name and I pushed the fridge in front of the door, hoping that it would slow them down.

He managed to get the door open slightly but then one of his friends jumped through the living room window and glass flew everywhere. And he was soon joined by Owen and their four other friends.

“Listen alright. I had nothing to do with what my father may or may not have done.” I pleaded. But the blackness in Owen’s eyes meant that he had already made his mind up. I was already going to be punished for what was happening.

All I could do was brace myself for what was about to come. But not even I could predict was about to happen.

Owen tackled me to the ground and was laying on top of me, he leaned down to the crook of my neck and inhaled my scent and I heard him growl. My heart started thumping in my chest and I looked at the other men that were standing there. Guys that I had gone to school with for years. That I had known my whole life and they all had the same look in their eyes.

Owen forced my arms above my head and pinned them there and with his other hand he started trying to undo my jeans. That’s when I started struggling and he screamed at his friends to hold me down. Which they all obliged.

I knew that they hated me and I knew that my life was a miserable existence in this pack, but I never thought I would have to endure something like this.

I closed my eyes and prayed to the Goddess that it would be over soon. But I wasn’t that lucky. Because once Owen was finished, it was his friends’ turn.

It was the longest night of my life while they were laughing and playing along and having a great time by the looks of it. This sort of revenge was enjoyable to them.

I held back the tears, I wasn’t going to give them the satisfaction. No matter how much they hurt me. No matter how much it felt like they were tearing me apart. Even with all of my training, I couldn’t handle 6 of them at once. I couldn’t take them on. I couldn’t defend myself in this situation.

It definitely was the longest night of my life because by the time they left, the sun was starting to come up.

They just got up and left. Left me lying there on the floor. My face badly beaten, my body aching, bleeding from between my legs. It was the most horrible feeling in the world.

When I was finally able to and I was sure that they were gone, I managed to sit up and I rested my back against the couch but stayed sitting on the floor.

I knew that everything was going to get so much worse for me now. I knew that since my father was accused of assaulting those girls, I was the one that was going to pay for it. And I knew that Olivia was lying. She was just the type of bitch to lie about something like that. And I would have to go to school every day and see those same six guys and pretend like nothing happened. I definitely couldn’t report it. Not the Alpha’s son. He could get away with whatever he wanted to. He just proved that.

I looked to the side of me and there was a large piece of glass that was sitting beside me from the broken window and I picked it up.

I hesitated, but only briefly and I used that glass to slice up my left wrist all the way to my elbow. And then I switched to the other hand and I did the same on the other arm.

I sat there watching the blood drip down onto the floor and my pants that I had managed to get back on but I didn’t do up.

It wasn’t long before I started feeling really weak. Even with our accelerated healing, these cuts were too deep and I was losing too much blood for them to heal before it killed me.

I started losing consciousness when I started hearing my name being echoed from behind me. I couldn’t hold my head up though. I could barely open my eyes to see who it was and all I saw was a blurry figure in front of me. And that was the last thing I remember before completely losing consciousness.
