Chapter Forty - Three

“Hunter’s were once wolves?” Kellen laughed, shaking his head.

Jace looked at Nora nervous, he didn't want her to explain. He was begging her with his eyes to stop. They didn't need to know. He was worried that if she told them the other packs may turn on them. He didn't know if he would be strong enough to protect her. He glanced at Dante who shifted his stance nervously.

“Yes. Hunters date back to the original bloodlines of wolves. The two powerful families. However one was cursed to become something strong enough to hunt wolves. Hunters. The wolf blood line faded out amongst them as time went on but in the very beginning they were wolves.” Nora said ignoring the glances Jace was giving her.

“Well that is some fairy tale. Who exactly told you this?” Kellen laughed while the room was silent.

“The goddess.” Nora said quietly.

“The moon goddess, the mother of all. Spoke to you.” Kellen said in disbelief.
