A few moments later maps were sprawled out across the dining room table. All territories joined at the valley. Lance and Bruce’s territories were north east of the valley. Nora's eyes traced the valley. Zeke was to the west, Chadwick to the south, and Jace with Noras’s pack were south east. Silver mountain with Douglas was northwest. The council would have to travel downwards to get to them. She watched Jace go over this with Asher and Logan. He was trying to see what pack would be willing to travel north to loop around them, just in case Douglas backed out on them. They needed to cover all bases.

Their voices blurred together and Nora started to feel sick. The constant nagging of this was her fault and strangled her heart. It wrapped around her lungs, choking her. She began to feel her light headed and vision blurred. She didn't want to pull Jace away from the meeting. She quietly excused herself into the kitchen.
