Katherine Pov

"Gray-oh no what the hell you guys!" I shouted after bumping into Sonia and Grey who were engrossed in sucking each other's faces.

"You have no right to complain, you have your mates too. It's more creepy than this, trust me," Grey rolled his eyes. He had given his mate some space but he never let her go by encircling his hand around her waist.

"What is it, Katherine?" Sonia asked, obviously wanting me to get things over with and leave so they could continue their business.

For God's sake, they were out in public, right in front of their room door. There was no harm in taking it inside.

"Jade seeks your attention Grey, and Sonia, It's already time for your check-up," I explained.

Grey turned to his mate and they both seemed to be linking with themselves so I had to awkwardly wait for their final answer.

"Don't be naughty Stone," Sonia slapped his chest with a girly giggle.

My face turned into utmost disgust at her sentence and I felt my belly do a flip.

  • The Luna Queen's Revenge    Replayed

Katherine PovIt was 7:40 pm already. I kept pacing around my room and chewing on my fingers, contemplating whether or not to meet with Brenda. Going there meant that I believed what she was saying and I was showing a form of trust but most of the time I managed to trust people, they found their way to stab me in the back, literally. Brenda's message replayed in my mind - “She does it every two days. I plan to find out again tonight. It’s because you’re the only one with the same perspective as me, that’s why I’m telling you this,” Every fiber screamed this was a trap, yet my gut said I had to hear her out. Brenda had betrayed my trust before, leaving me wounded and wary. But Jasmine was way worse than anything Brenda had done to me so far. Curiosity and duty warred within as evening fell. Finally, with dusk's cover approaching, I steeled my resolve - for the good of the pack, I would see what Brenda wanted to show and be on guard.Just as I gripped the doorknob, ready to slip int

Katherine pov“What gives!”“Shh!” Brenda hushed, placing her hand over my mouth to silence me further. “Look.”My gaze followed her direction and my eyes widened a bit, recognizing the figure ahead of us. Well, I’ll be damned. I was beginning to believe Brenda was out of her mind but the sight in front of me said otherwise. Jasmine. It was almost midnight, what would a stranger of the pack be doing outside at this time of the night? My brows furrowed in confusion as I saw the vivid image, tiptoeing her way into the darker parts of the woods. She had a black veil covering her head and I noticed how her head darted from left to right to see if she was being followed. “She is getting away, let us follow her,” Brenda whispered, pulling my hand as we began to stalk behind Jasmine. Deliberately, Brenda and I kept a long distance so she either would not hear us or sniff out our scent. As I moved stealthily through the dense woods, my eyes remained fixed on the path ahead, illuminated

Katherine pov “What in the actual fuck!” I cussed out in frustration. “Impossible,” Brenda said, her expression as stunned as I was. Her reaction and response to the event made me believe that I was not crazy to have followed a ghost out in the night, only to disappear in thin air. “I don’t understand, she was right there.”Jasmine's disappearance left Brenda and me stunned, our hearts sinking with a mix of frustration and disbelief. It was as if she had vanished into thin air, leaving no trace behind. The moonlit clearing stood empty, devoid of any sign of her presence. The weight of the situation settled upon us like a heavy fog. We knew that without concrete evidence, our claims about Jasmine's true nature would be met with skepticism. The council, Jude, Jade, or the rest of the pack, would be unlikely to believe our suspicions without vivid proof. We needed something tangible, something that would expose her deceit and protect the rest of the pack from potential harm.“Let’s kee

My heart raced as I shot up from my sleep, and to my surprise, Brenda was already on her feet, equally alarmed by the sound. I forced myself out of the ground too. Our eyes met, a shared sense of urgency passing between us. Without wasting a second, we hurriedly dashed out of the clinic where we had spent the night. The adrenaline surged through my veins, propelling me forward. As we emerged outside, a crowd had already gathered, their faces etched with panic and confusion. The atmosphere was charged with fear and uncertainty, magnified by the worried murmurs that filled the air.Driven by a combination of curiosity and a need to assess the situation, Brenda and I pushed through the chaotic mass of people. We maneuvered our way through the crowd, pushing everyone in our way gently, determined to reach the center of the commotion and find out what had caused such a disturbance. With each step,

  • The Luna Queen's Revenge    Disdain

Jade Pov Jasmine shook in fear as she remained on her knees, watching another man stay unconscious in front of her. Just like the first person, he was still alive but in brutal pain. I could almost taste the disdain from Katherine who was behind me. With the history I knew they had, I was sure she believed that Jasmine was the one behind these fatalities. I had a reason to suspect her too, but my guts were telling me otherwise, and my brother had the same feeling. It was either the vampires or Casto trying to make a point. We needed the witches back to avoid unnecessary trespassing. It angered me to know that my people suffered this way and were beginning to feel insecure about the safety of the pack. “Take him downstairs to the ambulance. We will not rest till we get to the bottom of this!” I announced firmly, I was worried about the entire situation but I could not afford to show the rest of the pack that I wavered. “There is no need to get to the bottom of anything-”“Katherin

I was going to kill her and ensure that her generation ended there. “You bastard,” I yelled, barging into the room, reaching swiftly for Jasmine, and pulling her as hard as I could imagine. “I’ll teach you a lesson you will never forget.”Frey was as pissed off as I was, but I knew if she took over, she would rip Jasmine limb by limb. Jade did not say anything about my interference and I was glad he didn’t because I knew he’d be part of the people who would see my wrath if he tried to support her. ‘Don’t kill her.’ Jade said, over the link and I could not help but smirk. ‘Pray I don’t,’ I responded before dragging Jasmine who was screaming for her life out of the office. I continued to pull her and for someone who used to be stronger than I was when we were younger, she was pathetically weak. She was disgusting, trying to seduce my mate, thinking she could have her wa

Epilogue Katherine Pov “You’re going to die with the child in your womb.”I stood stunned as Castro revealed the shocking news – I had a baby growing inside me, amidst the fierce fight raging between us. This discovery hit me like a thunderbolt, as it began to make sense of the mysterious waves of sickness I had been experiencing lately.I had never even thought about the possibility of being pregnant. My reduced sense of smell and sight had gone unnoticed, and not even I or anyone else had picked up on the signs. The realization that I carried a new life within me was both thrilling and worrying, a bittersweet discovery in the middle of our clash.I grappled with the conflicting emotions rushing through me. On one hand, the news of my pregnancy filled me with a sense of wonder and the promise of a new life. Yet, the timing could not have been worse, as I found myself locked in a high-stakes duel with my sworn enemy, Castro. How Castro had uncovered this information remained a myste

Katherine Pov “A holmgang?” Castro raised his brows, laughing out loud for a moment. “Is something amusing to you?” I glared daggers his way. “I refuse,” he shrugged. “You can’t, even the council knows that you cannot do that. If you do, the entire kingdom will by law be forced to turn against you and pick a new ruler by themselves. Your head will be cut off and as will mine but unlike you, both our deaths are a price I’m willing to pay,” I explained, knowing that the consequences were too brutal for him to reject. His gaze changed from a playful smile to a death glare at me. I had fearlessly challenged my sworn enemy to a fight to the death, leaving him with no option to refuse. The stakes were incredibly high, and the outcome would determine both our fates. In my heart, I firmly believed that only two possibilities awaited us: either I would lose my life, or Casto would suffer his ultimate defeat. If I were to fail in the fight, I acknowledged that I had no rightful claim to r

Katherine povSusie. My heart skipped a beat, and I swiftly turned around to locate the source of the sound. However, my joy quickly turned to concern as I noticed Susie's mother hastily covering her mouth with her hand, her eyes pleading with me to stay away. She shook her head and I could have sworn I saw tears cloud her eyes. So I stepped back, I stopped. Seeing Susie brought me a sense of relief, knowing that she was safe, but I couldn't ignore the fear that clouded the expressions of both mother and daughter. It sent shivers down my spine. In that moment, my disdain for Casto intensified. They had stripped these people of their freedom, confining them in a state of constant fear and oppression. The sight reinforced my determination to fight against the oppressive forces that had taken hold of our once vibrant and free community.I lived these few months in joy while my people suffered and even now that I had returned, I was helpless and they remained hopeless. JADE PovMy blood boiled with anger as I watched the council's woeful display of decision-making. I couldn't fathom how they could be so blind to the consequences of their actions. Standing there with my brother and Jasmine, I had to endure the painful ordeal of hearing the council members' proposition. They callously suggested that we should return Jasmine, tearing her away from our side, and take back Katherine in a misguided attempt to avoid war and mitigate further loss. The very idea left a bitter taste in my mouth. How could they believe that sacrificing one person for the sake of appeasement would bring any true resolution?I clenched my fists, feeling an overwhelming surge of indignation. The council's incompetence enraged me. They failed to see the bigger picture, the human cost of their decisions. I could not even open my eyes fast enough because of how bad my head felt. Eventually, my surroundings started to come into view and it looked nothing like my room or anywhere in the pack house. It reeked of shit, literal poop and that was the first sense that hit me. My sense of smell. It was horse shit and it was disgusting. The commotion from this morning had come to an end before it was even noon, everyone had gone back to their daily lives, and the victims were admitted to the hospital. To my surprise, the council had not called for my attention concerning Jasmine but I believed Jude and Jade had something to do with it. Once again, I abruptly turned on my heels, trying to catch the made-believe stalker by surprise but I still ended up with the same result. Nothing. “Are you okay?” Sonia questioned for the umpteenth time and I nodded in approval. It was going to raise false alarms if I had called attention to how I felt at the moment, especially because the entire territory was on its toes. She was due in about a week or earlier t
