The night turned into day. Day after day passed, and it seemed so long to me. Weeks went by, but Lucas and I were still in the same position.

Yes, we were still locked up in Luke's luxurious room. I could only cry every day, hoping that there would be a miracle that could free me and my son.

However, my hopes were always dashed when I remembered the spell Luke had put on the door of this room. The alpha never wanted to free us, and he still put a spell on Lucas and me to keep us out.

"When is your daddy going to set us free, Lucas?" I asked Lucas as I lay on the bed, staring up at the ceiling of the luxurious room filled with colorful crystal chandeliers.

"I don't know, mom. But the important thing is that Daddy still visits us here. Daddy comes here every day, right?" Lucas said casually.

"Huft, you're always defending your insolent daddy," I snorted in annoyance and chose to close my eyes because I didn't want to vent my anger on my little son.
