6th Chapter- "The Betrayal"

In the middle of a bride's room, the bride Ae-ril and her ex-husband Hajoon starts the conversation. Ae-ril stays still seating in front of the mirror while Hajoon still standing next to the door and keeping his distance from Ae-ril.

"You came huh, I thought you can tolerate me. I am right you can't stand me..." Ae-ril didn't have a chance to continue what is she going to say because Hajoon start talking and interrupted her.

"What do you think you're doing?" Hajoon calmly said and looking at her in the eyes by the mirror.

That is right Hajoon aka "Taeyong" the famous singer and Ae-ril the famous actress are ex-husbands and wives. They just got married a few months ago and then got divorced for an unknown reason. Nobody knows what the real reason is except the two of them.

Even Hajoon still does not get over the breakup he still comes in secret to talk with Ae-ril. The truth is he wants to see her personally to end everything smoothly with her but Ae-ril suddenly announces her engagement party to the media with her new boyfriend. Young Jun is the famous director and Hajoon mortal enemy.

"You came here without any invitation just to say this to me? I thought you want us to get back together but I think you already make up your mind so, are you here to make a show or something"

Ae-ril sarcastic tone said.

"You know that I am not that kind of person. I came here to find a real answer to everything. Now tell me why are you doing this to me? Do you need to do this? You left me without a word and now you suddenly have an engagement to the man that I hate the most!" Hajoon still calming himself even if it makes him mad already.

"Why? Can't I? or you against it because it makes you feel like someone else already stole the things that you want the most? How does it feel, stepping down on your pride, to lose everything you have including me, and have many gossips and bad comments about you? Is it frustrating or exhausting?" Ae-ril said and start to stand up and walk towards him slowly. But Hajoon is still silent.

"I heard that until now that you still don't appear in many interviews and some shootings, why? are you hiding or you just don't know what will say to them of how does this thing happen, got married just in two months and suddenly got a divorce? What an extraordinary event!" Ae-ril smirked.

"You planned it all from the start, Am I right?" Hajoon looks at her straight into her eyes. But Ae-ril just smiles at him.

"Wearing a mask, black cup and shades... looking at you now secretly came here with that kind of outfit it makes me feel like your here to kidnapped me its so funny if I see your fans reaction if they see you now, haha."

"Stop your nonsense and tell me now, Why are you doing this? why do you need to do this to me?!" Hajoon said with a medium higher tone of voice.

While on the outside, Cindy is still listening... and suddenly the door pushed open slightly by her hand on the doorknob, luckily no one even noticed the two people inside, so she had a chance to glance at the man who is ow standing next to the door. But only the right side of his face that Cindy can see also is hard to recognize his face because of the black mask that is still on under his chin and a black cap on his head. And that is the only side that she can see.

"Ae-ril... did you not love me all this time?! I mean I did everything for you to make you happy, I don't understand what is wrong for you to do all this." Hajoon wants some of his questions to be answered but Ae-ril just walks away back to the make-up chair and patiently said.

"Even if I told you, there's not gonna change anything because of someone like you...has no hope to change."

"What are you talking about? I gave you everything if it's not enough then you should tell me right? You know that I listen to everything you want to say. I don't understand what did I do wrong?"

"You think that you love me enough just because you give me everything I want?   Then how about my freedom, my feelings? Did you ever ask me if want to do everything you want me to do? Did you allow me to make my decisions or my future... you already decided on everything did you ever ask me if I want it or if I have an opinion about this?"

"I did all of that for your good! Then if you don't like that I will change it the way you want to!" Hajoon shouts that but Ae-ril stays silent.

"Then how about Young Jun why him? is that because he can give you everything you want more than me? what kind of reason is that Ae-ril? Can you make a more accurate and better reason? You are no longer a child to contribute because of a very small thing!" Hajoon let out a big sigh.

"I love him." Ae-ril just says one sentence that makes Hajoon angrier.

"What?... Just like that? Do you love him? How about me?" Hajoon bows his head and closes his eyes for a few seconds silents surround the whole room.

"One last thing if you answer me "No'" then it will be our last meet up and after this, we had nothing to do with each other... Ae-ril Cha this is the last time I am asking you... Did you really... not love me anymore? No! You don't really... love me?" Hajoon asks calmly.

A few seconds of silents before Ae-ril answered his question.

"No, I didn't love you... at all." Ae-ril said and look at Hajoon by a mirror in front of her.

Hajoon tears were already going to fall but he still manage to stop them. He also insisted to accept her answer and just nodded to her.

"Very well, Congratulations on your wedding!"

After he said that Hajoon wore his mask and shades and immediately go out of the door that makes Cindy hide in the back of the door. She put her hand in her chest with nervous because the man could almost see her. She feels that the man is already away from her so slightly take a look to confirm it. She looked at the back of a man who is now walking far away from her. She let a big sigh. 

And just a second she realizes that she needs to meet the bride-to-be so she knocked simply on the door like she doesn't know anything.

"Come in!" Ae-ril said calmly like there's nothing happen also.

"Hi! ahm, the receptionist told me that you want to talk to me. Is there anything I can do... ma'am?" she said to her. Ae-ril stand up and approached her.

"So it is you. My husband-to-be is right. He said that you're a Filipino is that true?"

"Y-yes? Oh, that's right."

"You understand the Korean language, that is impressive! so that means I can request a song right."

"I'm not that good at Korean songs but I will try my best!"

"Don't worry it's not a Korean song I also live in the US and there's a song that I like the most I'm sure you know it because it's become popular last year. I heard your band is good at playing some of their songs."

"Is that so, well can I hear it maybe we already know that song."

"Alright, actually it saves on my playlist let me get my phone!" the girl said and then walk away to find her phone. Cindy simply let out a sigh of relief that the girl didn't notice anything.

After an hour the engagement party finally starts. In the corner of the stage, there is where the band group of Cindy set their position and getting ready while waiting for the signal of the Host of the party. Then a few minutes the Host starts the ceremony.

"Ladies and Gentleman let's welcome our Loving Couple Mr. Song Jin and Ms. Shin Ae-ril!."

All the guest clap their hands to welcome the two of them. There all cheer for them and later on the group of Cindy's group recognized the face of a bride.

"What the hell?! Is that Ae-ril the ex-wife of Taeyong!?" Fudge suddenly said maintaining his lower voice so that no one will notice.

"Are you sure? Really? Our poor Taeyong." Eliz said too with a pitiful expression.

"Wow! What a show! She dares to do this while Taeyong is still stuck in so much scandal because of her! it's just a few months ago when they divorce now she has a face to marry again! she has guts ah!" Sandra also shocked and madly say.

"Wait, if I remember correctly the groom... is he also the mortal enemy of Taeyong in Entertainment World? What, they're also fighting each other with the same girl?! what a pain!." Fudge added to the tension of the conversation.

"It is really... WOW!" Sandra sighing says with shaking her head.

"Let's forget about her. Let's just get ready so we can go home immediately!" Fudge said then they start to prepare and get ready.

Cindy is still in a daze and still thinking and talk to herself with her mind. She also remembers the thing that happens earlier in the bride's room.

("Then that means the one who walks out in her room earlier is her ex-husband? And that man is none other than the famous singer Taeyong?!")

 After a while, the host starts to announce again about another ceremony.

"Now let's raise our glasses and give our blessing to our lovely couple that standing in front of us!"

All of them raise their glasses with wine and cheer for the couple. They are all happily clapping their hands for them.

Then finally the host looks straight to Cindy and makes an approved sign, meaning it's their time to play their part now.

"My god if I knew in advance that it's her engagement party I wouldn't agree to perform here" Fudge whisper to them.

"Stop saying that. What are you going to do if someone might hear you?" Sandra whispers to him too.

"How about we run away?" Eliz also added.

Cindy still looking straight to Ae-ril who our now happily talking to her husband-to-be.

("Wait! The song did she do it on purpose. That means the man from earlier is still here. But where...")

Cindy turned around her eyes to find someone and then a man in black standing at the corner of the hall catches her eyes.

("That man... black cap and mask, it's him. He stays here. He's still not leaving?") Cindy whispers to her mind.

Cindy sigh and looked at the girl named Ae-ril who seems to look at someone in the corner of the hallway. She followed her eyes also to where she looking at and found out that it was also the man that they talking about. Cindy sigh again.

("Is it hard to get play she argues with him earlier and now she is looking at him straight like she wants to prove something.") Cindy sigh again and looks at the Host who is now giving her a nod that it's their time to play already. She also replies with a nod to confirm.

"Now let's give a round applause to our today's performers The Amazing Stars!!!" the Host said and all of the guests clap their hands to cheer them. Before Cindy starts to play she give another glance to the man that now is still staring at Ae-ril who is now busy talking to her partner.

"What a painful scene," Cindy whispers to herself and smirk while shaking her head while looking at Ae-ril then again she looks at the man who gives her a shock because the man is now staring at her. She can't tell if what is in his mind while still staring at her then Cindy just gives up and ignored the look of his and then start to play her keyboard.

"Why is he keep staring at me?"
