Chapter 3

Priest saw Rylan in this complicated situation and felt sympathy for him. He knew it was not easy for him to choose between his love and people. He thought for a minute or two and said,

"Yes, there is a way to make her stay in the water realm."

Hearing the priest’s words, his heart skipped a beat and a ray of hope ignited in his heart, like what he had gotten.

His eyes started shining with a ray of hope of getting Larena.

He was very curious to know about the way! He wanted to try everything he could for her.

Rylan asked the priest with a voice full of curiosity "What way, the royal priest is talking about?" He was more polite than ever he had been!

Seeing him curious, The priest said, "Rylan! You have to think once more because this way is not that easy and you have to pay for it.``

Rylan wanted Larena at any cost. He didn't want to lose her.

He thought to himself, ‘I will pay any cost for my love of life!'

Rylan said, without wasting a single second." I am ready to pay any cost. I want to marry her."

Priest understood his true feelings for Larena. 

So,he told him the way to marry her and make her the queen of the kingdom of Rylan!

Somewhere, The royal priest also wanted Larena to become the queen of this kingdom because he had seen an aura of the queen in her and she was also perfect for him but he was still afraid about the disaster their love would bring. But no one could change it, since they were fated!

Rylan asked the priest,"What will I have to do to pay the cost to get married to Larena and what kind of payment will it be?"

The priest said,"After the fourth night from tonight, there will be the night of the full moon!

He took a deep breath and continued,

"On that night, in the middle of the night...You have to cut off a small part of your heart. I need the flesh and blood of your heart!"

Even though he was hesitant to tell him, he had no way to ignore the fate anymore. So, he told him whatever was needed.

Rylan was taken aback and thought to himself,'This is the only chance to have his queen.'

He was ready to give her his full heart, let alone a little part of flesh from it! 

Rylan was more than ready!!

He was done with the priest and took his leave from him. He wanted to reach Larena as fast as he could!

Rylan went to Larena’s room.

He found  Larena sitting very sadly there! Rylan could tell why she was feeling unhappy!

Seeing Larena sad he was not happy but somewhere he was assured that Larena also truly wanted to marry him!

She sensed someone’s presence and looked at the door, it was Rylan there whose face was glowing. She didn't understand anything and felt confused!

She asked Rylan,"Why are you glowing so much?and while saying that,it seemed like she would just cry.

Rylan went to her and hugged her tightly. He was happy and by  holding her hand softly, he told her that they would marry soon.

"You promised to marry me and I wish you won’t go back on your own words!"

They both chuckled and hugged each other. All the anxiety she was feeling was gone after feeling his warm hug.

Rylan didn't tell her anything about whatever was going to happen. He didn’t  want to upset her and he knew if he told Larena about the consequences he was going to face, she would never agree to it!

Hearing his words the face of Larena started to glow. She almost cried! She tried to control it but still her tears came out of her eyes!

Rylan felt her tears and asked, "Why are you weeping?...Are you not happy?!!"

She said, "These are the  tears of happiness!! I am so glad that I  will have you as my husband."

The king and future queen were both very happy!

They both spent their night together by seeing the stars in the clear sky and talked to each other for hours about their future!

Both were waiting for their marriage to happen. 

Days passed and the beautiful day of their marriage arrived!

But this was also the night of the full moon.

" My King! You have to come with me alone." The Priest said while slightly bowing his heart in front of him. 

Rylan nodded and followed behind him.

He went into a room full of darkness with the priest.

Priest ordered king Rylan, "Get ready to give the flesh of your heart."

Without wasting a single second Rylan took out his dagger.

 King shot his dagger from the pocket which was tightly bound to his waist!

Rylan cut off his chest and got out a part of the flesh of his heart and kept it on the table. He was in immense pain but he bore it. It was for his love after all.

After the rituals which have been done by the priests, 

The flesh of the heart was  converted into a gem!

The priest said, "This gem is so powerful because it is made up of your flesh and blood." He took the gem in his hand and said while showing it to him!

"A Wolf king's blood and flesh!" He continued..

 "You have to take care of this gem specially because everyone will want this gem from now on."

The royal priest need not say more words as The Rylan was wise enough to understand.

 He said, "I will take care of it." He bowed his head to the priests and showed them his respect.
