The story starts with Alessia being cursed when she was just in her mother's womb. A vile witch had cursed Alpha and his future heir as the Alpha has refused to be with her and did not give into her seduction. The curse will only be broken by a mate who genuinely wants to be with her and would even be ready to sacrifice his own life for the sake of Alessia. Soon their daughter Alessia lost her third mate. Alpha Ezekiel Lockhart is a broken hearted Alpha who lost his first mate. His parents thought that perhaps he will have a second chance mate who will help their cold hearted son. Alpha Ezekiel's second chance mate turns out to be none other than Alessia Romano who is cursed. Her mate's tend to die mysteriously after the mating is completed. But that won't be the case for Alpha Ezekiel. He was not interested in the mate bond. That is when his parents suggested for him to form a bond with their friend's daughter. Alessia is someone, whom he used to bully when they were children. It was Ezekiel's way of showing that he cares for Alessia. But Alessia on the other hand always saw him as her enemy. She was not ready when her parents suggested for her to be the chosen one for Alpha Ezekiel. But she had a revenge to take. Her current and fourth mate Oliver Crimson had rejected her after using her unceremoniously. So, what better way for her to get her revenge as Alpha Ezekiel was the best friend of her fourth mate. Oliver also happens to be the Beta of Alpha Ezekiel. Things take a drastic turn when Alpha Ezekiel offers her a contract.
