Alessia’s POV

“I think we should stop”

“What do you mean?” my heartbeat increased as he got up from the bed stark naked as the day as he was born.

He started putting his clothes on

I got up from the bed in hurry only to his pain as he had claimed my body in every way possible.

“ugh” I groaned in pain a I fell down. I looked up at Oliver. He did not even bother to look my way or had the decency to help me.

Nevertheless, I still got up and walked towards him “Don’t do this. You promised to be with me Oliver” Tears spilled down my cheeks as he avoided looking into my eyes.

“Oliver” I shook him lightly.

“What?” he snapped angrily as he glared at me.

“How can you be selfish?”

I gasped at his tone. This is not my Oliver.

“Do you want me to die like the rest of your mate’s?” his eyes glared daggers in my direction.

“You were not like this” I muttered.

He smirked as he scanned me and that was the time, I felt cheap with the way he looked. MY hands tried to hide whatever they could of my body but it was no use.

“Come on now, stop pretending to be modest” he smirked.

“Besides, I have already seen it. Nothing enticing”

“You bastard” my hand raised out of anger but he held it before I could slap him.

“I am not among those who plays the card saying ‘its not you but me” he muttered.

“How could you do this to me after everything” I glared at him as I wiped my eyes. I won’t give him the satisfaction of seeing me cry.

“Don’t pin this on me. Both of us knows what happens when a mate marks you. I don’t want to have the same faith” he stated as he searched for his shirt. I walked behind him making not caring that I am naked. It doesn’t even matter at the moment.

Stepping into the living room, he wore his shirt which we had thrown in our hurry to get to bed last night.

“you said it does not matter. You will be with me till the end” I snapped angrily.

He stopped and turned to face me “Seriously you cannot expect me to be with you. Come on now, I have got the taste” he licked his lips as he stared at me. His eyes which made my heart skip in the past, today they made my skin crawl.

“There is nothing more you could offer baby” he smirked.

“I hope you rot in hell Oliver” I cursed him.

He rolled his eyes at me “The one who will mate you will definitely have the same fate Alessia”

My eyes turned sad at the uncertain future. At the lonely life I have got ahead. No mate will want to be with me. I was lost in my thoughts and was startled when Oliver’s breath fanned my cheek.

I took a step back “We could do one thing” he started.

I did not want to get my hopes high. Now that I have seen his true color, I know he will not have anything good to say to me.

My thoughts came true when he opened his mouth “I will stay with you on one condition”

I gave him a look, “and what is that?”

“Perhaps, you could be my mistress” once again he scanned me from top to bottom and made me feel cheap.

“Don’t you dare” I warned him.

“Why so angry?” he licked his lips as he suddenly placed his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him despite my resistance.

“Both of us know you sleep with every mate” he forced a kiss on me.

“You could be my mistress and then you don’t have to run to every other guy who turns out to be your mate” he stated.

“I will provide for you” he added increasing my anger with every passing second.

Without wasting much time, I kneed him in the balls. He fell down right in front of me, groaning in pain.

Leaning down to his level, I muttered in a low tone “You are no match to me Oliver. How dare you to give such a ridiculous offer to an Alpha’s daughter”

He glared at me “You are nothing if you cannot even take the Alpha position” he stood up still clutching between his legs.

“I will find someone who will be there with me no matter what the fate decides” I challenged him.

He smirked “if you don’t find the guy to be with you, then you have to be my mistress”

The audacity of him “Haven’t you got the taste already?”

“What, can’t get enough of me” I smirked at him knowing his weakness.

His eyes turned darker shade. He is my mate. We definitely have the attraction between us. Unfortunately, he was not in it for the whole part.

“I will find a mate, better looking, most handsome with charming personality. You will be no match to him Oliver” I muttered.

He scoffed “Only in your dreams Alessia”

“You will see” I circled around him.

“No one will want to be with you after they realise their fate” his looked pleased with him.

“There will be an exception Oliver, for me” I stated.

He scoffed “Get your head out of dream land. There is no such thing happening”

“Six months” I stated as I stood in front of him.

“What?” he gave me a confused look.

“Within six months, I will find a mate who will be with me and rule this pack beside me”

“I can’t wait to have you as my mistress, to do whatever as I please” he stared at me with eyes full of desire.

“Not even in your dreams” I muttered through clenched teeth.

“We will see” he glared right back at me before turning to leave.

“Where do you think you are going” I stopped him.

“Now what?” he looked annoyed.

“I Alessia Romano reject you Oliver Crimson as my mate”

He looked shocked and surprised at the same time.

“Did you think that I would wait around for you to reject me?” I gave him an amused look.

“You cannot be serious Oliver” I chuckled at the look on his face when I realized that I was right.

“I am not a damsel distress who would sit around crying for you” my expression changed as I gave him a dark look.

“I will walk out there with my head held high and find a man who is hundred times better than a guy like you” my eyes moved to his prized possession. It gave me immense satisfaction to insult him.

“A guy like me” he glowered at me.

“Well, you are too small, you could barely satisfy me” I shrugged my shoulder with a displeased look.

“Alessia you…”

I stopped him “I don’t have much time to waste Oliver. I have said what I have said. That is my view about you and your poor performance”

He fumed angrily as I carried on “If there is nothing else, you may leave” I showed him the way out.

With anger in his every stride, he walked towards the door. I stopped him at the exact moment.

“There is one more thing”

“Now what?” he snapped without even turning back.

“You did not accept my rejection. Don’t let me think you are still interested in me” I stated. I was toying with his emotions. He was angry and extremely pissed off. He deserves every bit of it.

“You wish” he scoffed.

Turning around, there right at the entrance of my home, he accepted my rejection “I Oliver Crimson accept your rejection Alessia Romano”

As we had not marked each other, the breaking of bond was not painful. It was like a pinch and nothing more. Looks like he had the same reaction because the next second he stepped out of my home without any pain on his face, as if he has not just accepted his mate’s rejection.

Looks like I was the only one who gave my all to this relationship. Oliver on the other hand was in it only to sleep with me. It pains my heart every time a mate rejects me.

I was the unlucky one among werewolves to have such cruel fate. Why would moon goddess subject me to this curse?

Why was I mate less? My previous three mates died mysteriously. It was later found out through a pack witch that I was cursed and whoever mates with me will die. Word spread like wildfire. I became the laughing stock of my pack.

Shaking out of my thoughts, I decided to get fresh and go to the pack house. Half an hour later, fully fresh, I stepped out of my house and walked towards the pack house which was just four streets down from my own house.

As I walked pack members whispered behind my back. Some boldly pointed their fingers at me where as some ignored me. This was my life. I am Alessia Romano, warrior daughter of the pack’s Alpha bound to take over the Alpha position one day.

“Hey babe” my childhood friend joined me half way. One look at my face and she realized what has happened.

“That bastard” she cursed Oliver.

“Leave it be Emma” I stated.

“Alpha Alex is in it for another disappointment” she muttered.

“Nothing new. He will get used to it” my voice low.

“Fill me in so that I can make the bastard pay for putting that look on your face” Emma said to me.

Immediately I schooled my expression and kept it neutral. She lets out a sigh

“I will make sure Oliver regrets it” I said to Emma.

“That’s my girl” Emma pulled me in a side hug.

“Now let’s go, we have plans to make his life miserable” she looked excited. I chuckled and followed her knowing the day is surely going to be adventurous.
