Elle was clearly upset and Bella was on his side, having no idea why her friend has run away when she was planning the wedding with such zeal. Ian never left the bedside the entire time and Matthew knew that something was going on in Aslan’s mind.Aslan sent his mother, sisters, and Tom home. Elle had already left as she had an appointment. Finally, Ian asked, “What are you gonna do about her?”“I wanna die right now.” Aslan replied honestly. The door to the home was open, so they went straight to his bedroom.“Fuck.”Both of them said in unison when they found the room in a mess and Aslan passed out beside it, the bottles around him. They didn’t know that the reason which had him passed out wasn’t from the bottles of alcohol but the loss of his love. They took him to another room and laid him down. Matthew called an agency to send cleaners. He must have been thoughtful enough to get his home cleaned, he scolded himself. God knows what Aslan must have gone through after seeing his “could be” marital bed. After some more struggle, the headboard gave up and his hand was freed with a large chunk of headboard along with it. His wrist was throbbing now. It was not easy to break a headborard, as it seemed. After he stopped panting, he took a few deep breaths, and he pulled his other hand as well and freed himself after a while. He turned on the bedside lamp and saw the room. It was a pretty one. He looked at himself. He was dressed in a pajama. He touched his face and found that he was shaved. His head was still hurting, so he stood up and walked to the door. It was unlocked.
