Jagger POV

Having Calliope under me is like a fucking dream. It feels so fucking good. I am very tempted to keep her here all to myself. Her lips tease my chin while I kiss her face, and her hands travel down my back to my ass. No woman has ever tried to command me; I would never have it, but with Calliope, I might allow her. Pulling away slightly, I watch as she opens her eyes, and everything in me comes crashing down.

All the barriers and walls I built over the years disappear with just one look; the desire in her eyes tells me she wants me as much as I want her. She is craving me as much as I am craving her, and I hope to fucking God we both get satisfied after one time together because I know once we go back to New York, we won’t be able to keep this going.

Calliope’s exposed body under me is like a dream. She is perfect in every way. I don’t even know how our clothes ended up on the floor. It was a mixture of desire and wild movements. Slowly, I pull away, cursing under my breath

Callie POVA loud bang awakes me from the best sleep I have had in a long time. I jolt from the bed, only to be stopped by a pair of strong arms around my waist. I blink several times, adjusting my eyes to the light, and realize I am still with Jagger. This is not my bedroom, and the flashing lights outside show the most amazing view. Thunder and lightning brighten the sky. “Wow,” I let out a whisper as I sit up, and Jagger follows my moves, placing a soft kiss on my shoulder before he looks out of the windows and sees the same things I am seeing. This is stunning. Beautiful. The most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The lightning illuminates the forest surrounding us, and the shades of green mesmerize me. “It’s beautiful,” I whisper. “Not as beautiful as you,” Jagger lets out. His voice is deeper as he has just woken up. I don’t know how long I stay in the same position, just watching the flashing lights illuminate the sky while Jagger goes back to sleep. I was never the type of p

Jagger POVI can’t believe we have been stuck in this house for the past three days. I am not even letting her go out for air. I can’t get enough of Calliope, and getting to know her is becoming my addiction. “My turn,” she says as she holds on to her wine glass and smiles. We are both sitting on the couch and Calliope has her legs resting on my lap as I cover them with a blanket while we drink red wine and listen to the rain outside. The fireplace is on creating a warm and cozy environment for our get-to-know-twenty-question game. “Do you know how to ride a bike?” Calliope asks, and I can’t help but chuckle. I nod, and she smiles. “I don’t,” she says, and my eyes widen as she shrugs her shoulders. I open my mouth, but Calliope shakes her head and asks another question: “How old were you when you had your first crush?” I frown, trying to remember my first crush. Remembering Miss Miles brings a smile to my face. “Around ten, she was my teacher,” I say, and Calliope smiles. She was ve

Callie POVSpending time with Jagger should’ve been the last thing on my mind, but I can’t stop thinking that everything is going to be different now. He will be going back to being the big-time lawyer, and I will go back to being a student who is suing his client. “Are you ready?” Jagger asks as he looks at me. He is leaning against the door frame, and I smile as I look at him. His inked arms are exposed as his eyes move down my body, doing to me what I am doing to him. I am trying to commit to the memory of his body, his ink, his everything. “Yes,” I reply as I walk to him. He places his hands on my hips, pulling me closer to him. His eyes lock on mine as I bite my lower lip, trying to restrain a moan that is threatening to escape. Jagger bends slightly, places a cast kiss on my temple, and pulls away. I don’t want to go back to reality, but I also know I have been away for four days. I contacted my family and friends, just telling them I was alive and I needed some time alone. I

Jagger POV“Where the fuck have you been?” Dash asks as soon as he opens my office door. He storms inside, and I remove my glasses, throwing them on the desk as I lean back on my chair and watch as my brother looks at me. I raise an unimpressed brow as he sits on the chair opposite mine. “Are you not going to say anything?” He asks, and I shake my head, enjoying way too much how pissed my brother is. I know I should’ve told him, but hey… He knew I was safe. “I thought you were fucking dead,” he adds, and this time I chuckle at his stupidity. Dash looks at me as he crosses his arms in front of his chest. “Don’t be a drama queen,” I say, and Dash’s face becomes bright red as he leans forward and slams his hands on my desk. I look at him, and his hands shake, and I frown. I haven’t checked my messages, and now I realize maybe I should’ve. “What the fuck?”“You’re such an asshole; Wyatt has been worried sick; his deal fell to the ground because of what happened,” Dash adds, and I shrug

Jagger POV“What do you need?” Ghost asks as we pull the bike to the side of the motel. I nod in the direction of the door, and he gives me a small nod as he grabs his gun from the back of his pants. “This is a robbery. Give me the money,” Ghost says as he enters the glass reception area, and I walk past in the direction of the rooms, kicking the door down. The girl screams as she jumps out of the bed, and I find Rover lying on his back with his hands tied to the bed, and I can’t help but smile at the sight in front of me. He is more stupid than I thought. How could he allow a woman to do this to him?“Do you know who I am?” He shouts as I walk towards him, and he moves on the bed, trying to free his hand. I look at the girl on the floor as she looks at me wide-eyed, and I move my head in the direction of the door, she nods her head several times before she grabs her clothes from the floor and leaves the room without looking back. I undo the ties on his wrists and then punch him in

Callie POV“Miss Calliope Flores, would you please come with us?” I hear the police officer say. They just walked into the classroom where I was having one of my exams. I raise my head to look at the woman as she stands next to me. I look at the professor, who looks as confused as I feel, and I frown. “I’m in the middle of an exam. Can’t this wait?” I ask the officer, but she shakes her head. The professor walks to me, trying to figure out what is going on. “I am sure your professor will let you do the exam another day; this is important and can not wait,” the officer says. I nod, biting the inside of my cheek as I looked around the classroom. Everyone was looking at me instead of at the exam. “Can I call my lawyer?” I ask as I leave the room being escorted by two police officers. They stay silent, and I frown as I stop walking. “Can you please tell me what is going on?” I ask, and they look at each other and then back at me. “You will soon find out,” one of them says, and I shake

Jagger POVComing to work as normal seems like the good thing to do today, and I know I did the right thing when Janet walked into my office without knocking. “Oh my God, have you seen the news?” She asks. Her smile is wide, and she looks like she is beaming. Surely, she wouldn’t be this happy with Rover’s death. “No?” I say, raising an eyebrow, trying to keep my cool. I can’t show off that I know what is going on. Especially because I don’t know why she is so happy. “I think you’re going to love this as much as I love it,” she says, walking towards me. I move slightly from my desk, and she starts typing on my laptop. When I look over her shoulder, I realize she really hates the man. I did her a huge favor. “Your client is dead,” she announces as I wheel myself back closer to my desk and start reading the article she opened for me. I Read the title and bite the inside of my cheek to stop myself from smiling. “Fuck,” I whisper. I need to sound a little more convincing. I can’t seem

Callie POV“Do you want to take that?” Donna asks and I shake my head as I look at the unknown number that was calling me. We have been sitting in this uncomfortable room for about one hour, waiting for a detective to come talk to me. Donna said I am not allowed to say one word, and I agree. They have nothing on me, and they are just trying to intimidate me. This is a huge case and they need to show the press they are doing something. A soft knock on the door makes me look over my shoulder, and Cornelius walks in. He looks flustered and bothered. I frown as he leans closer to Donna, speaking in her ear. I can’t hear what they are saying, and I know he is not doing it to be rude or to stop me from listening, but to stop the police from listening. They have cameras in every corner of this room. I can see the red lights flashing as they record us. The door opens, and two people walk in. They smile politely as they walk to the opposite side of the metal table separating us. Cornelis sta

Jagger POV“Are you sure you want to do this?” Dash asks as we both put our masks on. I nod as I try to focus on the task at hand. This is going to be the most dangerous thing we have ever done. “I think this can go wrong on so many levels,” Dash adds, and I look at my brother as he stares at me. The only thing I can see from his features are his eyes. The eyes that mirror my own. I let out a deep breath, gathering the guns I chose to take with me while Dash did the same thing. Wyatt has been extremely quiet, lost in his own mind. I know he is struggling not knowing where his family are, for their own protection. “Let’s go,” Wyatt says as he walks past me and Dash, carrying his duffel bag with the guns he is taking extra. The rest of the men are in the armory, grabbing their own things. This room is only for the three of us. “If things get too much, I want you out,” I say as I look at my brother, and he shakes his head, pressing his forehead to mine as his hand rests on the back of

Jagger POVI look over my shoulder to see Calliope staring at me. Her arms are wrapped around her body as if trying to self-soothe, and something inside of me breaks. I look into those beautiful eyes before I exhale and leave her inside our house. Once the door is closed behind me, I get into the mindset I am going to need to get this shit done. I hate lying to Calliope, but I also know I can’t tell her the truth, not yet. If she knew I wasn’t going away, that I would be in New York, she would have way too many questions I wouldn’t be able to answer. As soon as I close the door on my car I press the button to call Dash. “I’m on my way, is everything ready?” I ask Dash and I can tell by the background noise it isn’t. “What the fuck is going on?” I ask as I wait impatiently for the garage door to open. “One of my clubs exploded last night,” Dash says, and my brain can’t even begin to process the words that just came out of my brother’s mouth. “What the fuck?” I let out as I drive as

  • The Law Bound Enforcer - The Legacies Series - Book Three   Chapter 73 - Calliope Flores

Callie POVLiving with Jagger has been the most amazing and weird thing I have ever done in my life. He is attentive and caring, but he also gives me my space and allows me to spend time alone so I can focus on my studies. I have never met anyone like him before. But there’s one thing I can’t get my head around. Several times, I wake up during the night, and he is gone. He is nowhere to be found, and I keep thinking he would tell me where he is going if he wanted me to know, right?“Are you okay?” He asks me, lowering his newspaper as he grabs a cup of coffee, bringing it to his lips. There’s something extremely sensual about a man holding a newspaper with only one hand while their eyes are on us. I feel a shiver run down my spine as these thoughts take over my brain. I nod slightly, trying to push away all the questions in my head. Jagger closes the newspaper and places it next to his plate. Immediately after he stands and walks to me with a confidence I envy. I keep my eyes on him,

Jagger POV“This is amazing,” Calliope says, throwing her arms around my neck, pulling me and kissing me. Her lips devour mine as her tongue dances with mine. Without a second thought, I spin us around, sitting Calliope on the edge of her new desk as she spreads her legs, wrapping them around my body. I press my erection against her heated pussy, and Calliope moans against my lips as my tongue moves slowly down her neck, tasting her every inch. Calliope has no idea the power she has over me; how she could click her fingers, I would go running like a fucking lost puppy. I am addicted to her, and I am not ashamed to admit it. “Show me how much you like it, baby,” I whisper in her ear, and her entire body shivers as her eyes snap open as I take a step back, allowing her to adjust herself on the desk and fall on her knees in front of me. I Can’t help but smile at the sight in front of me. Calliope on her knees is the most beautiful thing ever. How her eyes shine as her hands move to und

Jagger POV“Let’s go,” I say, and I hear people complaining as Donna looks at me with widened eyes. I am not going to sit here and listen to these pricks trying to destroy our reputations. Yes, they might be right. Yes, I was already chasing her before all of this ended, but I can’t help but try to protect her from all of this. Calliope looks at me and nods, standing with me and holding my hand as we walk out of the room where all the press is protesting. I know they were waiting for a final statement from me, but they can fuck right off. “Are you okay?” I ask Calliope as soon as we are alone in the corridor. Her hands are freezing cold and shaking slightly. Her eyes meet mine, and she shakes her head softly with tears pooling her eyes as she stares back into mine. “That was horrible,” she says with a single tear rolling down her cheek. I pull Calliope into my arms, hugging her tightly as she breaks down, crying against my chest. “That was completely unnecessary,” I hear Donna say a

I admire how comfortable she is looking in front of everyone.I rub my hands on my legs under the table, and I see Jagger looking at me through the corner of my eyes. He moves one of his hands, placing it on top of mine, stopping me. When I look at him, he gives me a small smile and nods, trying to encourage me. “Please understand Miss Flores won’t be speaking of the legal case surrounding herself at the moment as it’s all in court still, and if Miss Flores is not speaking, the same goes for Mr. Bolton; please be respectful and mindful,” Donna says before she sits next to me.We have a huge table dividing us from the press and Donna points at the first

I watch as the woman fitting the microphone bats her eyelashes at Jagger, and he is entirely unaware of her. His eyes are on me, and once she is done, he shoves his hands into his pockets, walking to me. Donna steps to the side as he stands before me, offering me a slight smile. “You two need to remain as a united front. We have checked all the questions being made, but reporters always go rogue,” Donna says, and Jagger nods.“Not my first press conference,” Jagger lets out, and Donna inhales a breath at his tone with her. She can barely look him in the eye and is blushing at any eye contact between them. I frown, watching her behave like a schoolgirl next to Jagger. Donna never behaved like this. Jagger POV“Jagger, you have Donna Johnson on the line,” Janet says through the intercom between my office and her desk. I let out a breath closing my laptop and answering the phone. “Donna, what can I do for you?” I ask. I am not the type of person to go around having chit-chat. I have always been cordial with Donna, but we don’t really have a lot in common. She is more of a social worker case. She likes pro bonuses and cases that won’t get her anywhere. She was never money-thirsty. “Jagger, thank you for answering; I know you are a busy man,” she says. I sit back in my chair, closing my eyes for a few seconds, waiting for her to continue, but she stays silent. “As you said, Donna, I am a busy man,” I let out through greeted teeth. I have nothing against her, but the fact that she is wasting my time is starting to annoy me. “I would like to sit with you; I need a lawyer,” she says, and I frown, sitting back up on my chair. Now, she’s piqued my interest. “I wouldn’t be contacting

Jagger moves to get closer to me, but I take another step away from him. “Why are you talking to me like that?” I question Jagger as I cross my arms in front of my chest, raising my eyebrows and staring directly into his eyes.
