Finally we made it, I turned to Rider and hugged him. He smiled and hugged me back.

Rider and I met in our first year at college, he said my eyes sparkled like a thousand stars in the sky and he couldn’t stop looking at me in Bio. Since our first class he moved desks just to talk to me and we hit it off.

Now in our final year of college, we are coming up to our 3 year anniversary. I am hoping we will end the year with a ring on my finger and a wedding date in the diary. It’s something that’s been discussed at great length.

Rider is 6”1 and the son of a Beta, muscular and his midnight black hair makes his features pop. He’s stunning. Although we have fooled around, I am saving my virginity for marriage and he has always been so supportive of that.

My family was killed last year when rogues attacked our eastern border. It’s been a hard time and Rider has stood by me. When I lost my sister who was also my best friend along with my biggest supporters my mum and dad, I was lost. In complete chaos I have had to fight to keep my college placement, fight for the life insurance payout and fight to keep my home, all while trying to keep on top of my studies and gain extra credits with my volunteering.

Things are finally looking up. I have the love of a wonderful man who is to become the beta of our next Alpha Damon. Damon doesn’t go out much but from what I have heard he is a womaniser, arrogant and ruthless. Rider said as long as he can gain the Alphas trust we will live a life of luxury.

I'm 19 now and it’s my 20th in 1 month. Rider turned 20 3 weeks ago and his family threw a massive party where we expected the future Alpha to turn up but he didn’t. Everyone is saying he’s getting fed up with his parents setting him up with eligible females.

The only way of getting out of an arranged marriage is to meet his mate. Rumours are that he won’t take the Alpha title until he finds his true mate. Rider is counting on it not being any time soon, that way we can finish our education and I can get my career going too.

I’m not looking forward to meeting our future ruthless ruler but I will also be the Beta of his Luna as that is the role of the Betas wife so I’m hoping he isn’t as cruel as others insinuated.

My final year in college is going to be amazing. I have passed all my other exams with flying colours and got top grades, this year I have 3 final exams in 7 month and until then it’s coursework and getting my hours on placement at the pack hospital. Silverwood have the most wonderful hospital, renowned for his amazing care. My hard work paid off and I was granted 1 of 3 placements.

I’m mostly in the ED however I have been able to assist in Trauma Units with surgery and rehabilitation. My end goal is to be a leading trauma consultant just like Dr Bridge who everyone looks up to and I am no different. His work is legendary and if I am able to pass this year with top grades then I could be considered to work under him for my Degree.

My life was on the up and I felt like nothing could bring me down from cloud 9.
