Jai and Darrion reached the fountain in the middle of the village and entered the item shop nearby.
A young woman was tending to the goods. She had her wavy black hair in a long ponytail and was doing some dusting to keep the… Well, dust, away. She stopped when the sound of bells chimed harmoniously, signalling that her door was opened, and went on to greet her customers. “Welcome to Wind Chime Shop! I’m Rin, the shopkeeper. You two must be travellers judging from the bag.”
Rin had that innocent but hardworking look on her. Her vibes kind of reminded him of Miria, but she was more straightforward than her. She had the Asian feature on her face, like narrow eyes and short nose, and her face lines. But come to think of it, her name and how she’s speaking kind of reminded him of his Japanese friend.

Jai knelt down on the ground. He put the dry branches and foliage he had gathered into a pile and arranged several rocks around it in a circle. He then charged his hands with electricity and clapped them softly around the small dry mound. A tiny fire lit up from the spark he made and he repeated it several times until the dry mound was consumed by fire.Jai smiled, satisfied that they finally got something to warm themselves through the night. They had left the Sougen Village and walked to the direction of the forest with the giant trees. They reached halfway through the prairie when the sun lowered itself in the horizon, signalling it’s the moons’ turn to take watch. It was still a long way to go to Takenoko, so Jai and Darrion decided to also rest at the side of the road and making camp.He turned around to inform his friend that they could finally have a seat on the ground and just chill, but a frown settled on his face when he looked at his friend.

They arrived just before the forest around mid-day on the insistence of Darrion. He said that the trace was fading and he suspected it was because Alex had gone further away from them. So Darrion dragged Jai using his speed dash and cut the time short.
