Deep gurgling that sounded like rumbling thunder could be heard echoing from the swamp. It was weird and also sounded like a clogged water source. Any of those phrases didn’t sit well at all to those who heard it, and even a bit horrible to some people who knew well where that comes from.

“Why are they growling loudly like that, Chief?” a young man asked the elderly beside him as the both of them looked north.

There was a swamp in northern area of their village. The swamp wasn’t noticeable because it was in the forest, but the area was quite damp and wet.
