Jai rushed through bushes and dodged past trees as he chased after the flying red jellyfish. For some reason, the peculiar creature went faster than before, and Jai almost lost it if it weren’t for his superb reflexes.

‘How can it go faster? It just ate!’ Jai shouted in his mind. He also realized that the forest had taller trees as he ran deeper, and this slightly worries him because the lack of sunlight might hinder the hunt.

He felt it strange for a creature that had just finished its meal. If anything, it should be going slower because it was still digesting its food. But it’s not going slower at all, and instead, going faster.

This would not be a problem for him in normal circumstances. The circumstances being him chasing it in plains or clear ground and not with so many tall trees and its overgrown roots trying to trip him over.
