While the participants were studying, there was another activity going on in another room. It was a certain activity involving the problem that had been going on in the mausoleum lately.

Yaju’s consciousness was triggered when he felt his feet freezing. He got up with a jolt and immediately retracted his feet.

“Cold!” he shouted.

The nun who was tending him retracted as well and the guards were instantly on alert. One of them pulled the nun back behind them and raised their weapons towards the young man on the ground.

Yaju gradually gained his awareness as he rubbed on his feet to make them warm. He noticed he was on a pile of puffy leathers that could be considered as a makeshift bed, on the floor. He then looked around, finding that there were four other people in the room and they were all looking at him. He knew one of the people, though, and he wished he wasn’t here.

“Finally up, hm?” a heavy and ruffy, but masculine, voice asked.

Yaju gazed
