The old woman's face darkened. She was enraged by something that is in her mind. This puzzles me.
"Connor claimed that his father was also betrayed by General Thud," I told the woman hoping to hear more of her stories.
She did talk.
"Hunter, Coel, King Suxx, and General Thud we're good friends," she spoke. "But greediness has eaten Thud," she sighed.
"How did he betray them?" I asked further.
She shook her head. "I don't want to remember," she smiled bitterly. She headed to the door and planned to leave.
"Hey, wait," I called her. "I want to know more," I beg her.
She smiled and whispered, "You look and act like your mother," she smiled before turning her back and walking away.
