Chapter 2- Trap

Bryan's POV

Red clouded my vision as I struggled to control my wolf, Duke. Zane however lost complete control over his wolf, Blaze and throw a chair a across the room hitting and breaking a Portrait that once hung proud on the wall. 

"That's enough!" Yelled our father using is alpha command. 

Matthew the Commander of our army just returned from what was supposed to be a milk run. Telling us he had a run in with the heathen we lost one of our men and our cousin Dj is in critical condition because the heathen infected him with its venom. Matt was fed from as well but for some reason wasnt injected with the venom. On top of that he failed to bring us the human rebel that wears the heathens mark which could lean us to the heathen. 

"So let me guess this straight. You went to fetch the human rebel that could be our only lead to get the heathen. Then the heathen showed up to get his girl and free the other humans" said my brother in anger.

"The rebel we been chasing is the heathen's girl?" I asked shocked that a hybird so power would mate a weak human.

Matthews lowered his head as he said no has if he is ashamed of what he has to tell us. 

"The heathen was the rebel, she disguised herself as a human some how." Matthew explained. I frozed he had to be joking I looked at his face in hopes it was a joke.

"So your saying that the heathen that killed hundreds of my men, including my mate is not only a women but can disguise herself as a human" says my father's he shook with anger. Matt only nodded. 

"Well that's.." 

"Hot" Zane say cutting me off, our father sent him a warning look. Of course Zane would think that is hot, he needs to learned to control himself. 

"She had a message for the king" matt said nervously. 

"And" I said impatiently tapping my foot.

"She said the supernatural rule is coming to an end and soon the human will rule again" matt answered. The room was silent while we all thought about the warning. 

"Its time for you 2 to find your mate. Being mated will allow you to unlock your full strength and you can rightfully take the throne. Once you are at your full strength, both of you should be able to easily take down the heathen. " said father calmly which shocked both Zane and I. 

"We have looked high and low for our mates held several of balls in hopes of finding her. And nothing maybe she died or something. We would of found her by now" i said painfully 

"You havent look among the human" said Matthew. I looked at him as if he grew a second head. 

"A human mate you have to be fucking kidding me, we will reject her if she is human" Zane yelled. I agreed with his word which only mad Duke angry with me.

"He could be right. You both would of found her if she was supernatural. Obviously your looking in the wrong place. You will accept her as your mate the goodness chooses your mate for a reason. We will hold balls around the country and order all female humans to attend. Vampire or shapeshifter must bring their female slaves or pets. I will set everything up, the first party will be immediately"  order father.

"You realize by doing this we are opening the doors for the heathen to walk right in our castle" I said

"Then you better catch her before then" with that said our father left the room matt followed him leaving Zane and I alone. 

"What if we don't have a mate?" Zane asked looking at me with sadness 

"We have mate, I can feel her at times even though the connection is weak. we just have to find her."I said. Zane nodded 

"How are we going to catch the heathen? She is basically invisible except when she comes out to rescue human. Even then very few have seen her" 

He was right, we been hunting the heathen since the war ended and no luck. Matt is one of the few that actually seen her face and the first to say she is a woman. 

She risks her life to free those disgusting creatures, after all that why she was created.'Then why don't you use the humans to set a trap' said Duke making me sound like and idiot. 

"He is right you know" said Zane. With us being twin he can hear my wolf, not all the time only when my wolf wants him to hear. 

I nodded at Zane the we started to walk to the office to get to a plan together, we both including our father couldn't wait to kill the heathen though death was to kind for a creature like her. I mean she is one of the only thing that can kill us, human can to and have in the past but it takes a group to kill one of us. The heathen can kill us single handedly. 

We wont rest until her body is ash.

Celene's POV

Trent and I returned to the mountains where the others were waiting for us with the van of humans. I got out of the truck and walked to the side of the mountain using one of my many powers I opened the Secret passageway letting everyone in, I waved at trent telling him I will come in later.

The mountains here were protected by a spell that hid us inside only human and supernatural I allow can go inside. The mountains are also protected by dozens of tigers. 

As I began to walk around the mountain I was approached by the largest and very muscular tiger Zeus, he hissed at me wanting to change from my human form.

I let me body change from human to heathen then only differences was my skin is paler, my eyes were bright blue instead of brown and my scent was different. Zeus growled again at me to shift into my tiger. I laughed then channeled my tiger then my bones began to brake one by one, my body was covered with white and black fur, my bright blue eyes glowed with in second I was transform into my beautiful white tiger Rona. 

I stretched out my body, my claws dug into the ground. I looked up to see Zeus checking out tiger form he came toward me rubbing against my tiger licking the side of my face then took off running. I shook my head then quickly caught up to him. We went to where about 20 or more tigers were,here was a stream with a waterfall on the mountain that the tigers loved to go. 

I watch as Zeus played with the pups. I wish he was our mate I whined in my head. "He cant be our mate is a regular tiger and beside that I thought you never wanted a mate" said my tiger Rona 

"I don't but I would take him as a mate any day"

"One that's disgusting that animal is not coming anywhere near us and two we have a mate somewhere we just have to find him"

"Relax I know we cant mate a regular tiger, it would kill him. " I pouted" And I highly doubt we have a mate we searched for a 110 years with no luck. Even if we found our mate their is a large chance he will reject us what kind of a human would want to be mates with a monster"

"He could be a supernatural being. I mean we were cursed by the sun and moon goddess it make sense that are mate would be what we hate the most."

" then I will kill him myself I dont care if I die I will not mate one of those disgusting creatures" Before Rona had a chance to reply a red flare lit up the sky singling for me to go home. I said goodbye to the tiger and rushed in side the mountain.

Trent was standing with brad and Andy at the entrance. I took clothes from Trent, since I shredded mine when I shifted.i quickly shifted, dresses  and turned to them. Andy and brad looked uncomfortable I immediately knew that they were hiding something.

"What's going on?" I asked 

"The king appeared on the TV, he made an announcement. we recorded it for you." Trent answered I followed him and to others to the main area in the mountain when we got there over a thousand human sat at the table in silence, all had fear on there faces. I look at trent he uncomfortably swallowed then ordered one of the men to play the announcement.

My eyes looked at screen to see King Edward sitting in his throne his grey hair greezed down with his crown on top, the royal colors blue and gold  Decorated his clothes. His tan skin starting to wrinkle brought a smile to my face knowing that he was aging since he was just a wolf, when his brown eye connected with mine through the screen I had to hold in  a a growl.

Rona began it get nervous when my eyes found the twin princes standing on other side the king. One twin slightly taller then the other both with dark brown hair and matching brown eyes. I felt an odd feeling when I looked at they but I quickly shook it away. 

"The time has come for my sons to find there mate. All female humans and are to attend the ball that is in your area any humans that dont come will be hunted and killed. A bus will be traveling through the towns with soldiers to collect unwilling human" my blood began to boil as the king talked. How dare they demand this. 

"My Sons have a message for the heathen" when the king finished speaking the princes stepped forward standing side by side.

" Heathen you have 3 days to turn yourself in. Or we will be forced to burn down our human centers. For every hour you make us wait after your time is up, A center will be order to execute any human that are at that center." Said the older twin

"We have soldiers placed around your mountains, so dont run. Turn yourself in and no one will die. Are you willing to have over hundreds or thousands of lives on your hands, if you chose not to listen to our orders" the younger one said with a slight smirk. My blood roared in my ears, I stopped listening as the king began to talk again. 

Rona tried to come forward, I was only able to hold her back slightly but she still taken half control of our body. We roared with anger picking up the nearest chair and throwing it at the tv shattering it's glass. Trent wrapped his arms around me I started to fight him trying to break free but stop when he whispered in my ear "your scaring the human" 

I frozen then looked around to see the scared and shocked faces that were staring at me, afew of the children were crying softly. I took a deep breath claming down enough for Trent let go the stepped back. 

"What are we going to do?" Ask a women who sat at the table across from me. 

"The only thing we can do I going to turn myself in" I answered 

And with that all hell broke loose, human yelled saying we need to fight. Trent and the other men beside me agreed to fight. 

"Enough" I yelled making everyone shut up. I waited a minute tell everyone was paying attention. 

"I will turn myself in thats the only option at this point, no need to rest lives for my safety. Trent will be in charge when I leave"

"He is a vampire, we tolerate him being here, because he helps you. But we will not follow him" yelled a male that stood in the back his word making my clench my fist.

"He isn't a vampire anymore, he happens to be my first turned hybrid though I have yet to bring his tiger fully forward, he will protect you better then anyone else. He is also only loyal to me, he wont be effect by the king or his sons if they try to order him to do something. He wants your freedom as much as I do. I know if it come to the point he will put your life before his" I answered there were few you disagreed but I didnt care. After everything I have sacrificed to protect the humans, they had no rights to question my judgment. I was their protector for a reason.

After leaving the room i began to prepare to leave, trent followed me into my bed room I stripped naked not caring trent was in the room, I went into my bathroom and hopped into the shower. 

"So what your plan?" Trent asked leaning again the counter. I peaked out of the shower.

"Not to get killed" I answered 

"Good plan... but seriously what are we going to do" 

"I'm going to turn myself in first chance I get I will rip off the kings head. You will stay here and watch over the human. I will speak with the tigers and tell them what's going on, I will also tell them you are in charge until I return even though you cant shift you should be able to  communicate with them." I said. I finished my shower the stepped out naked and soaking wet. Trent lick his lips looking over my body, I clear my throat he got what I wanted and handed me a towel. 

"If you die the supernatural will have no one to fight against them, the humans arent strong enough and there is very few supernatural that are on the humans side. We cant do this with you" he stepped closer pulling me into his arm "I cant do this without you"

"You can and you will." I said pulling away from him but not before I placed a kiss one his cheek. A  single unwanted tear left my eyes i quickly wiped is away then got dressed in black Jean's, red tank top, leather jacket and biker boots. 

Trent add sadness in his eyes that made me want to break down and cry. I kissed his cheek and left. As I made my walk out of the mountain I was met with many humans who either thanked me, hugged me all them were saying good bye. I finally got out of the mountain. I decide to make the Journey to the castle by foot. They was no need for me to take a vehicle after all what does a bad person need a car or truck.

After talk with the tiger I started on my journey. 

"Hell here I come"
