Chapter 4- Hell of a ball

All day matty has been torturing me even hook me up to an iv with the wolfsbane and ravine mixture he likes to call the hybrid mix because he can't think of anything better I guess. Matty has been torturing me every hour to keep me from healing.

My body was covered in bruises, cut and burns, I was wearing nothing but a black bloody sports bra and black bootie shorts with a black collar that has heathen wrote on it. True to his word the king was doing anything and everything to insure that everyone saw a weak defeated rebel. Little did the stupid king know that I still had alot of fight left and I'm as stubborn as hell.

"Alright let's go over the rules again" matty said with a silver whip that been dipped in the hybrid mixture in his gloved hand.  

"No killing anyone" I said with a smirk

" except the king and his pathetic sons" I added he growled then brought the whip down on my bare back making me screamed as the pain radiated throughout my body. 

"You will respect the royal family" I rolled my eyes earning the whip to hit my already busted back 5 more times.

"Fine, I will temporarily respect them." I growled through my teeth 

"And you will bow"

"Not a chance" after I said that matty took the silver whip and dipped it into the hybrid mixture again. Then whipped me until I almost pass out, as my eyes were dropping  He finally stops and picked up my head so we were looking into eachothers eyes.

"You will bow to your kings" 

Not trusted my words I slightly nodded which made matt smile I resisted the urge to roll my eyes at how stupid he is to believe that I would bow. I bow to no one not the moon goddess or the sun goddess and especially not to a pathetic king who sends his henchmen to do the dirty work. 

He called about 4 soldiers into the room. They went around me and held me tight even though I couldnt move because of the chains. I noticed matty grab a torch and started to heat up a piece of metal with a blow torch . I looked closer at it and notices it was the royal crown which was a sign of ownership.

'That son of a bi...' I said to myself once I realized what he was going to do. I began to fight trying to get free but it was pointless there was not way I was getting free from the chains and the men holding me. The damn hybrid mixture weaken me more then I thought, and I couldn't risk shifting into rona. So I had no choice but to let matty mark me with the royal seal 

Matty walked toward me, then stuck the hot metal into my shoulder. I screamed in Excruciating pain as the hot sliver imprinted my skin with the crown.  I was thankful he put it on the opposite shoulder as my heathen mark but still promised my self that if I ever had the chance to get matty alone I would stick that metal rod wear the sun doesn't shine. Once he was finished the guards started to remove my chains and put me in lighter chains to walk in, I took this as a opportunity to hit matty  with my right hook busting his lip. 

Matty grabbed the whip and hit me a few more times as punishment for hitting him. I had to with hold a laugh when he was finished. I personally thought he looked better with a broken lip, however he did not. Matty warn me again to be on my best behavior, Then it was time for the ball.

I stood outside of the ballroom with my hand cuffed together, the thick collar scratching  my neck and chains hooked to my collar and cuffs. Matty said we were waiting for all the humans to show up then they take me in and display me in front of everyone.  Which I'm not happy about, the humans need to stay strong and fight for their freedom not be scared into obedience. I guess alot of supernatural are here as well once word got out that the heathen was going to be at the ball many wanted the chance to see me in chains. Honestly if I had the chance to see the creature that I hated the most probably would to. 

"Behave the king will not hesitate to kill every human here" matt said I growled at him which made one of my guards flinch. I smirked at Matt as he glared at the guards. 

"Seems to me your men are a lot more afraid of me then I am of them" I said in a laugh. He slapped me across the face in angry I just hissed at his action he raised the whip and bought it down on my legs as a warning. 

"Alright it time to show you precious humans how weak you truely are." Matty said than guard opened the doors. I was pulled behind matt as he walked infront holding my leash 2 guard stood of Ethier side of me carrying a chain each. Rona growled in my mind she hated this even more then I did but we knew if we put up a fight many humans would die.

I looked around to see many supernatural that had there human pet or slaves barely clothed, some were even naked. humans that didnt have masters were dressed in rugs. Supernatural drank wine and ate off a large Buffet, human had dirty water and crackers. 

I looked to see a small human try to grab some clean water, her master pulled her by her hair and slapped her hard knocking her to the ground.

I lost control at the site, Rona came forward completely before I could try to control her. 

Rona roar at the vampire and fought against our chains until one of the vampires that held our chains let go, giving us another slack to launch at the vampire with all our strength. I knocked him to ground I used my chain that tied to my wrists and wrapped it around his neck choking him. I felt a sharp pain cross my back I looked to see matty has whipped me and about 6 soldiers were coming towards me I showed my fangs at them, the vampire I had in my hand was trying to scream and fight but had to luck he was slowly dying as the sliver chain cut his neck. I was close to finishing him off when the soldiers finally got him away from me.  A different soldier had the whip and hit me as the others pulled me away the chained me to my spot on a raised platform.

Matty then yelled for my attention, I looked to see he was holding the girl I saved. She was crying has Matty nails dug into her shoulders causing blood to fall from her skin.  

"Let her go" I hissed  pulling on my bounding.

"You were told what would happen, now she will pay the price" matt said he pull her head to the side than bit into her neck, She screamed with tears in her eyes. Then what seemed like hours her dead body sit the floor. 

"Remember your place or more will die" he hissed. I took a deep breath and lower my head not quite a sign of submission but all I could bring myself to do. I felt guilt and anger I promise on the dead girls body that one day humans will be safe.

The supernatural looked at me with disgust while humans looked at me pity, fear and surprisely little hope still showed in their eyes.

I was surprised to see some still had hope since I was their only chance at taking back there world and here I was bloodied and in chains. The kings plan was working the human smelled of fear, I also I seen a camera that was pointed my direction. I felt embarrassed knowing people at the mountain seeing me like this. I had hope trent would use my suffering as a way to motivate the humans.

I stood on display for about 15 mins. Until I heard trumpets, rolling my eyes then looking at the main door the king walked in after someone announced his name. Like Seriously doubt it was necessary to announce his name, since everyone here knew him and his son. Everyone bowed as a sign of respect, even the human but that was because of the power he gave off. I however didnt bow or feel the need to. 

Matt jerked on my chain reminding me to behave and to bow. I ignored him with a smirk and looked back at the king without bowing yet he looked right at me with a smug grin. 

"Soon he will be dead by our hand" I said to rona. She didn't say anything but I could feel she was anxious. At times I get annoyed with her lack of words. 

"Welcome to my home, I am pleased to see so many of you. Before I introduced my sons. I have another that is worthy of an introduction. May I present to you the heathen or celene as we know her" king ed said.

All eyes turned to me I tried to pull away from my chain the last thing I want was to show my weakness and the king knew that. Even thought I just pledge forcibly to matty that eddy is my king, it my nature not to bow to him it will take alot of time to change that. 

Matt went behind this the whip and hit me cross my already bloody back. I hissed as the pain spread but I didnt dare scream. I couldnt scream to the human I was a sign of their freedom to see me like this was damaging enough. 

"as you can see even the most power of creature can be tamed and broken" I laughed at his words I am far from either. He sent me a warning look, I shut my mouth knowing what would happen if I say anything. 

"Let me present to you my sons and your next kings Bryan and Zane" with those words the main doors opened again. In walk in 2 of the most gorgeous men I ever saw. Rona is exicited passing in the back of my mind, I have no clue why I thought it is because they are our main target or she senses their royalty but I notice I cant smell them meaning they are hiding there scent I was been hiding mine since I left the mountain.

However it's odd for royals to hid their scent they like people knowing they are powerful. 

They both came to the edge of the stage where to king was standing, the king nodded at them then all at once I was hit with a scent of power as well as the mouth watering smell of cedarwood and pine. 

"This should be interesting" said rona. I couldn't ask what she meant because a growl ripped through the air. I look around to see everyone bowing beside me. I look back at the princes who looked like they were both pissed and surprised. 

I didnt care I was angry at Rona, angry at the moon and sun goddesses. I knew what that scent means. I looked around at the humans desperately hoping the smell can from one of them. The hair on the back of my hair stood up, my heart sped up and rona was leaping with excitement. 

"Shit" I said under my breath as I looked forward to see matty shaking as well as my other guards. I have met with one pair of deep brown eyes the belonged to one of the mouth watering men that walk in earlier I took a deep breath in smelling fresh pine."mate" Rona said in my head. 

That when I realized one was missing before I could look I felt his hot breath on my neck no doubt trying to smell my scent. "Release your scent" order the man infront of me.

"Not going to happen" I said with a smirk. As long as they don't smell my scent they won't know im their mate then I can live my years of torture then die without being tied to those disgusting creatures. 

"We need our mates, please" whimpered Rona. I felt her fighting me.

"No, stop this we will not mate those disgusting creatures" i yelled at rona. I felt sharp pain in my head and down my spine.

"Yes we need them and you know it" 

"No I rather die"

"I wont allow us to die because of your hatred and stupidity" 

I growled at Rona, continued to fight me I dropped to my knees. I was weak and pain surrounded my body from fighting Rona. Not sure how long I could fight her. 

Black spot again to blur my vision, I finally let rona win and released my scent.
