I stood outside of court, the doors standing tall infront of me.

I pressed my right hand flat against my stomach, feeling a little sick as I looked at the entrance of the court halls.

The small crown on top of my head felt heavy, heavier than it has ever been and I wondered of Barlion ever felt this way each time he goes to court.

I let out a heavy sigh, blowing the thick cloth covering my nose and lips along the way.

After a few more minutes, I mustered up the courage to push the doors open and step in to the court halls.

The hall was nearly empty and I wondered if I had come too early.

With a frown on my face, I walked further in to the court, my eyes jumping from one corner to the next.

I have only been in this court twice since I came to the main castle.

The first time was on my wedding day and the second was on the day Viper had the bells rung.
