CHAPTER 4: REAL MASTER PLANNER

" Brooklyn" Leilani said to the taxi driver who nodded.

" I need to drop this luggages in the booth, I hope I'm not taking much of a hassle?" She asked giving the taxi driver an awkward smile.

She was surprised when he came out from the car to put the luggages in the booth of the car.

" Oh, thanks sir. I actually wanted to drop it myself bu...." She tried to explain but she saw the middle aged man was just staring at her, after she paused..he bowed slightly before giving her a light how, walking to the drivers seat.

"Weird!" She concluded in her mind.

She adjusted the sleeping child in her arms, making sure to carefully sit so to avoid bumping the child's fragile head.

She settled into the taxi, sighing loudly as the taxi sped on.

She and her little baby, crystal just arrived from oklahoma to NYC, the flight was quite long, her little angel probably grew tired.

She smiled seeing the girl smiling in her sleep.

" You'll tell me what you dreamt about." She whispered in the girls hair.

She looked outside the window, as she stared at the beautiful view of New York.

" Not bad." She murmured smiling.

She glanced at the taxi driver before placing Crystal's head properly on her chest, the hair was tickling her jaw. As she was adjusting her head, her eyes swiftly caught the odd hair color on her child's blonde hair.

" What is this?" She muttered, her mouth unconsciously gaping.

At that moment in the pack house, the Gamma knocked on the big, strong door of the Alpha's suite.

Although they were friends, it still doesn't give them the right to disrespect the Alpha. There was still a very huge gap between them.

He heard the alpha's deep voice.

Xander bowed in respect at the alpha whose eyes were practically telling him to go on for what he came for.

The Beta drew a seat closer to himself before placing a documented file on the small table.

" I think you need to see this." Xander said.

" From the CEO's office." He added.

The alpha glanced at the file before taking his gaze back to Xander.

" You came here for this?" He asked, already knowing there was something he needs to know about that the Beta wasn't saying.

The Gamma blinked, nodding his head negatively.

He straightened up before clearing his throat. " Permission to ask a question?" Xander asked.

Kaden lazily nodded.

" Go on, stop putting me on your so called suspense mode." Kaden groaned.

" Alpha, did you by any chance go to the border separating our pack and the blue moon pack?" Xander asked quietly.

" Why?" The alpha simply replied.

" Kaden, you should at least answer my question first, ahhh" Xander scoffed.

He murmured quietly again.

" You're quite annoying some times."

Kaden gave him an ugly glare hearing what he muttered.

" I guess you really have nothing to say, where's Cole?" Kaden asked, standing up from his seat.

" Hey alpha, what I have to say is really important, you really gotta calm down and sit." Said xander, holding kaden's wrist.

Kaden freed his wrist.

" What?"

" Alpha wymond sent a warning notice to us yesterday, you weren't in your best mood yesterday that's the reason I kept it from you earlier." Xander explained while the alpha stared at him keenly.

" A warning notice?" Kaden asked, his brows furrowed.

" About?" He added with an already deep frown on his perfectly made face.

" Quite a ruckus happened at the border of Blue moon's pack and unfortunately, few lives were taken, not a single person from our pack though."

Xander continued to explain, his face also etched with a frown.

" And what has that got to do with me? Us?" Kaden asked getting infuriated.

That idiot dared to sent him a threat note.

" I never said a threat note, a warning note." Xander corrected.

" Get the fuck out of my mind." Kaden snapped blocking the mind link which made the Gamma roll his eyes which didn't suit him one bit.

" I asked a question, what has the so called ruckus got to do with me?" He added.

" Well..." The Gamma hesitated. " We had to find out who had cause such a disaster and had the guts to kill from Alpha wymond's pack and...." Xander stopped talking, pinching the frown lines on his forehead.

" And...we traced the scent, which turned out to be...em" Xander didn't know why he had difficulty in talking all of a sudden.

" To be... You, your highness." Xander ended bowing.

" What's the meaning of the trash you're speaking from your damn mouth?" Kaden yelled infuriated.

" What business do I even have with him to the extent of performing such a childish revenge?"

He added asking no particular person in question.

" He insisted you did it because of the feud between the both of you." The Beta tried to explain to the fuming Alpha.

*[ Where the fuck are you bastard?!]*

Xander yelled, mind linking the Beta, but he got no reply.

" Probably whoring around." Xander thought exhaling hot breath.

" What the hell are you thinking?, Your buzzing sounds are sounding all over my head!" Kaden yelled while his poor friend nodded helplessly.

It wasn't his fault, was he?

" I know what that fool is planning to do!.. Alpha my foot! I'll show him who the real master planner is." Kaden sneered storming out but paused.

Glaring at Xander, he yelled,

" Get your stupid accomplice from the hole he went to hide, he should act up to his rank and stop whoring around, tell him I'm gonna whip that thing responsible for his whoring soon." Kaden yelled again before storming out much to Xander's relief.

" Where do I even start looking for this whore in male form?" Xander murmured gritting his teeth.

In a dimmed lighted room in an island, a lady stood above a man who looked like he was in severe pains.

He was writhing all over the ground in pain, shifting backwards at the lady who was approaching him slowly with an evil smile on her perfect shaped lips.

" How dare you?" Her melodious, yet evil voice rang in the room which made the other occupants in the room shiver slightly.

Some of them glared at the writhing man on the floor, if it wasn't for him, then they wouldn't be in such a tight spot.

" I'm.. sorry, I..." The man tried saying but suddenly vomited quite a mass of blood.

" Please, spare me, forgive me please" He finally said, hot tears streaming down his eyes.

The thought of the pain he would go through and the one he was passing through made the tears fall from his eyes.

" Really?, Forgive you?" The lady sneered mockingly.

A sweet, melodious laughter rang in the air, but instead of the people around to relish the sound of the laughter, it brought goosebumps out of their skins.

" Tell me, why should I spare you?" She asked. " Give me a good reason why I should forgive you." She said faking remorse.

At this moment, the whole floor was stained with the blood of the dying man. He could only rub his hands together, pleading silently

" See!" She exclaimed. " You didn't even have a any thing to defend yourself." She said.

Her mocking voice suddenly grew deadly. " I hate weak creatures like you."

Before anyone could blink, she drew out a sword separating the man's head from his body.

Her blood stained face looked devilishly enchanting.

" Package it, and.." she paused looking straight at a huge, burly man who nodded immediately.

With that, she walked out of the room.

A man who looked like he was in his early forties hiccuped slightly as he laughed loudly.

There were other two men who dressed like guards, standing opposite the still laughing man.

" Me?" The man asked himself, laughing loudly again.

He faced one of the guards whose head was deeply bowed.

" Does he know who I am?" The man asked the guard.

The guard nodded negatively making the man nod his head with pride.

" Does he know who I am?" He asked facing the other guard.

" He doesn't, Your majesty." The guard who had a black mark on his forehead said with a grim face.

Alpha wymond stood in his full height, a smug look plastered on his face.

" That child doesn't know what will hit him soon." He turned to the guards.

" Has she taken anything today?" He asked.

The guard with the black mark nodded negatively. " She refused to take anything, Alpha." Replied the guard.

" Follow me." He ordered.
