Ada pov

Ada woke up finding herself in a room she recognized. She was in her room, she realized, which made her very happy . She tried to move her leg but felt a sharp pain. Someone opened the door. It was Ike carrying a cup of tea towards her.

“You have woken up” he said, “Are you feeling better?”

“What happened?” Ada asked, but since he did not respond, she decided that she must have just thought about the question. She licked her dry lips and forced her mouth to open.

“What” was that her voice? She sounded drunk.

She tried again “What happened?”

“You fainted after seeing your car blast into flames. Some of the bodyguards took the helicopter that brought you home,'' Ike replied.

Oh yes, she remembers, she remembers clearly how the security men forced men to force her into the helicopter, how the car she was in went up in flames and how and how scared she was.

Ike's povIke is sitting in the back of the car as the driver drives him and Ada to the cinema. So far they have both maintained salience and have not spoken to each other. He was still pissed at her for what had happened in her room earlier, but he could not stop thinking about how it felt to kiss her. He could not stop thinking about the pleasure of having her lips on his own. He loved how hard her nipples were for him and loved the way she kissed him back.He glanced at his wife. She was wearing a long red grown that had a high clit up on her lap. She matched it up with a sliver 6 inches heels and a golden necklace. She packed her hair to the back and had no earrings on.“Did you forget to put on earrings?” He found himself asking “No” she replied as she let out a laugh, “I just thought I would look better without wearing any earrings”.“You do look beautiful” “Thank you” Ada said with a smile There was salience again“I am sorry about what happened

Ike’s povIke could hear faith arguing with Olu about not letting her enter the house. He gave instructions saying he did not want to be disturbed, but somehow he can’t seem to get away from her. I sighed, got up and went towards the noise. Faith was a little light in his dark world. She was his side piece and somehow he was very fond of her. She was the one who would satisfy his sexual pleasures whenever his wife refused him, which was all their marriage time, although he made sure he paid her back by taking care of her bills and flying her to different countries for vacation. The luxurious lifestyle she was living was funded by him. He wondered why she came running this late at night. She usually comes when he asks her to come, which is when his wife is not at home or he sees her outside of his house. The argument stopped. He got to the sitting room. He wondered how it would look on the inside.“This place looks a mess,” Ike said, “What in the world is she doing here?”“probably has to do with the money, I bet it’s very cheap”.Ike could not understand why his wife would prefer to stay in a place like this and not in their mansion. He was standing in front of a shabby looking building. It was already dark but he could see the building clearly due to the security lights that were on for obvious reasons. He gestured for the other two security men to stand outside and wait for him to return as he and Alex walked into the guest inn. She left the house without any clothes or shoes, only the purse Ike had once bought her, which had the bank ATM card tied to the account he opened for her after the plane incident. Linda's PovLinda returned to the office after spending some time with Ada. It was still weird to know Joy as Ada, but she really did not care who Ada was; that’s her friend, and she was going to stick with her either way. She only hopes that Ada does the right thing by telling Ike.“Ma, we found something,” Musa's voice rang inside her brain.“What? How?” she asked.“We got the numbers of people from their registration book that bought that kind of gun from the last gun shop we went to, just like we did for the rest. One of the men said he sold it to someone else, but the registration on the gun still has his name. We asked for the number of the person he sold it to, and luckily he had it. We traced the number, and it was registered under one Benito Dam. He is an ex-convict, and nobody seems to know where he lives. The tone of his voice put her off; he sounded like he was happy she said that, but she was not going to lose in this conversation."Yes, I do. I admit it. That was my chance to get you, and I used it," Mary remembered that night clearly. She was already making out with him in the taxi car on their way to the hotel before anything else. It was clear that Ike did not remember that part, and she wanted to taunt him further."In fact, I was already making out with you in the taxi; you seemed to have enjoyed it." Mary felt satisfied when she saw the look on his face; he was shocked. She did not care about what he had to say; she did not regret what she did.
