Chapter Fourteen

Ike’s pov

Ike and his security men got to the guest inn by 7 pm. He was disgusted by how poorly the guest inn looked from the outside. He wondered how it would look on the inside.

“This place looks a mess,” Ike said, “What in the world is she doing here?”

“probably has to do with the money, I bet it’s very cheap”.

Ike could not understand why his wife would prefer to stay in a place like this and not in their mansion. He was standing in front of a shabby looking building. It was already dark but he could see the building clearly due to the security lights that were on for obvious reasons. He gestured for the other two security men to stand outside and wait for him to return as he and Alex walked into the guest inn.

To Ike's surprise, there was no one at the reception desk

“Where is everybody? Should there not be someone at this desk?” Ike asked, confused

“There should be, I wonder where they are?’ Alex replied.
