Gwen's POV

Did Gary ever tell you about a book?" Stephen asked as we walked to Karens families old home.

"No, he never told me anything about a book, but then again, you know he never told me anything about his side of the family," I replied.

"Well, if it was supposed to have been passed down to you, that means he should have given it to you this year since you are eighteen now. I am happy she didn't tell Norman where she hid the book," Stephen said

"I know, so am I. I guess Karen ain't as crazy as I thought she was," I replied, causing Stephen to laugh. We looked over to where Karen was walking with Steven. Her hands and head are on his shoulder as they walk hand in hand to her parent's home. I could see the disgust on Steven's face, but he was trying to hide it until she took us to where she hid the book.

"Well, maybe she is as crazy as I thought she was," I said

"Yes, she is. You would have thought she would have learned by now that Steven doesn't want anything to do with her but

They were never spoken to about this as children. Remember when Claire shifted? Steven and Stephen's parents showed up as she shifted and were awestruck? They had only heard rumors of red wolves, so this was a shock and needed to be kept secret until they could find out more. So they need help
