Chapter 92: Betrayal

Erix's POV

Wyatt looked at me regretfully and sighed. It was almost as if he were dreading the words, he would say next. And once he told them, I understood why.

"Because I'm one of them. I'm part of the Blood Pack. And they are expecting me there tomorrow…with Adam."

And that's when I leaped. I could see nothing but pure red. My anger took over me. The betrayal of a childhood best friend and fellow pack mate burned out any humanity I had left in me. That was something that could not be forgiven so easily. He would pay for his life because I was done with him; Wyatt would be no more.

A mass of wolves faced me with their teeth bared. I stared back at them dumbfounded. Had none of them heard Wyatt's confession? Was I the only one who cared?

Wyatt betrayed us. He was working with the Blood pack the entire time and pretended to be one of us. He was a traitor!
