Chapter 100: Day 1 of escaping

I'm not particularly like small and narrow spaces. And this one in front of barely fits one person. After Wyatt closed the rock and we were both inside, I felt suffocating.

"Rain, let's go. We need to go. Rijel will notice my absence, and it will alert everyone. Come on,"

I took a deep breath and shook away my fear of small spaces. I understood Wyatt's sense of urgency and had to push aside all that. My son depended on me, and he was my priority.

As we started to walk, the space started to get narrower. There were sharp edges of the spaces that sometimes cut through my skin. It didn't bother me. What bothered me was the fact that I started to breathe heavily. My instinct started to think about Killian, but I ignored it.

"Are you okay, Rain? We are getting closer to the exit," Wyatt asked me. "Do you want me to carry Clay instead?"

"Y-yes p-please," I replied. "The pull started to take a toll on me," I added before giving him my sleeping son.
