Prologue

As soon as I arrived where the wake is taking place, the first thing na sumalubong sa akin ay isang sampal mula sa stepmother ko. Bumaling ang mukha ko sa kabilang direksyon as anger and guilt surrounded my system, my cheek stinging from the pain that it dealt with.

Who would've thought that they would all blame me for his death? It wasn't even my intention to do it. Hindi ko rin naman kasalanan na nagpadala siya sa galit niya.

"If you had agreed with your father's offer, he would not be in this coffin right now!" Sigaw ni Jana, my cruel stepmother.

"Mom, it wasn't Gelal's fault." Ani Kuya Ameer "Stop blaming him." dagdag nito.

"Pagkatapos ng burol na ito, I want you four out of this house!" Sigaw ulit nito.

"Mom, tumigil kana! Walang kasalanan sina Jace. Nor Gelal! Just accept na wala na si dad." Sabat ni Khaleed.

Kahit ipagtanggol pa ako nina kuya sa stepmom ko, She still wouldn't change her mind.

I didn't mimic a word. I let her blame me dahil yun naman palagi ang ginagawa niya. I was so used to hear harsh words coming from her goddamn mouth.

Sometimes, she would even lie to Papa na may ginawa akong mali and imbis na kampihan ako or pumagitna siya, bubugbugin ako nito. Minsan pinapaso pa ko ng sigarilyo sa kahit anong parte ng katawan ko.

And when he's done, he will pretend like nothing happened. And I fucking hate it.

My dad died because of a heart attack while having an argument with me and Jace. Jace was my stepbrother from Jana, also an illegitimate son of hers.

We had an argument because I disagreed to Dad's offer. Saying na ipapakasal niya ako sa babaeng anak ni Agathe Verdanio para mag collide ang companies nila. Obviously, I declined and when he talked to Jace about it, he also declined.

Because of this, my Dad let himself be brought down by his temper and hindi niya nacontrol ang sinasabi niya until he had a heart attack. Both of us panicked and when they brought him to the hospital, he's dead.

As soon as Dad's attorney knew about what happened, he told us about the will and we were all listed. Including me, Jace, Kaji, and Chase.

I guess you were wondering about kung sino si Kaji and si Chase, they were also illegitimate sons of Jana after she got married to Dad.

I left the place and didn't want to hear Jana's blame on me. It wasn't my fault that he had a heart attack. Hindi ko rin naman inexpect yun.

Lumabas ako and went to get my car outside. Immediately driving off and speeding away from the place. The first thing that popped up in my mind was to visit Mom's tombstone.

I miss her, but she died because of an infection caused by a gunshot. The shooter was anonymous kaya hanggang ngayon pinaiimbestiga ko ang pagkamatay niya.

Nang makarating ako sa sementeryo, lumabas ako ng kotse at umupo sa tabi ng puntod niya.

It was midnight and nothing was lighting the place except the moon but I didn't mind if the grass was wet or the wind was cold. I just want to have my mind be at peace right now.

I still can't accept the fact that she's gone. The memories still haunting me to this day. How she suffered in that hospital, crying for help just to get her wounds treated but no one dared to help her. Sampung taon na ang nakalilipas pero ang galit na nararamdaman ko ay hindi na nawaksi pa.

All I wanted was to find that fucking suspect and stab him to death just so that my Mom can have the justice she deserved.

No one even dared to comfort me but myself. The sadness, the guilt, the agony, and the grief was all I had to endure for 10 fucking years. And now, my bastard Dad was the next to die. It still hurts that both of my parents died because of me. Mom died just to protect me, Dad died because I disagreed with him.

Tumulo ang mainit na likido sa pisngi ko and I didn't hesitate to scream until the top of my lungs just so I can release this anger out of me. I continued to screech hanggang sa kumalma na ang sistema ko.

Pinunasan ko ang aking mga luha, nagdadalawang isip kung tatawagan ko ba sina Jace or not.

Those fucking bastards didn't do anything for me. Wala rin silang magagawa ngayon kung tatawagan ko sila.

Standing up, I went back to my car and decided to go to the nearest bar.

When I arrived, I headed inside and saw that the place was surrounded by tons of people as usual.

They were drinking, dancing, some of them were smoking and almost fucking every prostitute inside. Pumunta ako sa counter to order.

"One bottle of whiskey, please." I ordered bago bumaling sa dancefloor.

Many people were dancing and grooving, the audience distracting me as I waited. Dumantay ako sa counter and continuously watched until something caught my eye. A woman, dancing her hips to the beat but she was a bit far from my position.

Inabot na ng bartender ang order ko kaya humarap ako sa counter para magsalin sa shotglass. Ininom ko agad iyon bago bumaling ulit sa dancefloor.

I can't take my eyes off her. Tila ba tumigil ang mundo nang makita ko siya.

The music changed at nakita kong papalapit ito sa counter. Halatang lasing na ito because her body was swaying as she strode forward.

Coincidentally, natumba siya sa akin. Her face was buried in my chest and her arms were wrapped around my neck. Her wavy dark red hair flowing down her back.

The sweet scent of her body was mixed with the alcohol she drank but it didn't fail to intoxicate me.

I gently moved her away to give her some space but before I could raise her head, she said something which I couldn't understand.

I continued to raise her head up to hear the words clearly kasi parang paulit ulit lang ang sinasabi niya.

"Ayokong pakasalan si Gelal papa! Stop... stop forcing me." She drunkenly said and buried her face again on my chest.

Chills were sent down my spine as my name was mentioned. My mind having numerous thoughts about this woman in front of me.

Ito ba yung babaeng pakakasalan ko? Fuck…

"Hey… hey, wake up." Saad ko habang pilit itong ginigising.

Humingig ito bago iangat ang kanyang ulo, her eyes half opened and a small smile plastered on her face.

"Hi, Dean…" Saad niya, her hand reaching for my cheek but I shoved it away.

"I'm not Dean. Umayos ka nga." Sagot ko na medyo naiinis na.

"Really? Then who are you? One of my Father's bodyguards?" She asked, her breath fanning at my face.

"No, I'm not a bodyguard. Goddamn it, umayos ka at iuuwi na kita." Sagot ko sakanya, looking around the place in hopes na may kasama siya.

"I'm not going home… I wanna stay here." She drunkenly said as she tried to stand properly.

Patuloy itong natutumba at walang alinlangan ko itong binuhat na parang isang sakong bigas dahil naiinis na ako sa inaakto nito.

"Alright, sexy bunny it's time to go home." Saad ko as I walked away from the counter.

"No! I'm not going home-" She was cut off when I spanked her ass.

D*****g ito at tumigil sa panununtok sa aking likod. My pace stopping habang pinakikiramdaman ito.

"You'll go home whether you like it or not." Sagot ko pabalik bago maglakad muli.

Pumunta ako sa exit at dumiretso sa kotse ko, placing her in the passenger seat kahit lumalaban siya.

"Sinabi ko nang ayaw ko umuwi eh!" Pasigaw nitong saad habang sumusuntok sa ere.

"You're already fucking drunk, sexy bunny. Calm down." Sagot ko rito as I tried to get a hold of her wrists.

"Sino ka ba, ha!? Hindi mo ba ako-" She was cut off when I accidentally kissed her lips.

I stiffened nang maglapat ang labi namin sa isa't isa ngunit awtomatikong pumikit ang mata ko nang tumugon ito. Her mouth tasted like vodka as it was laced in her tongue, her sweet scent intoxicating my system.

My tongue interacting with hers, our lips colliding to each other and the heat in my body was igniting.

Binitawan ko ang mga braso niya at hinayaan siyang ipulupot ang mga iyon sa leeg ko as I placed my hand on her cheek to deepen our kiss.

She abruptly moaned nang s******n ko nang marahan ang kanyang dila, making the sexual arousal that I'm feeling ignite completely.

Humiwalay ako sa halik at hingal na hingal kaming tumingin sa isa't isa. Her face flushed at the moment. Her eyes mesmerized me as those had an emerald hue.

"You just stole my first kiss." Saad ko sakanya, my cheeks heating.

She gulped anxiously. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that…" Sagot niya, biting her lower lip.

"Do you wanna come with me, sexy bunny?" I asked, lust was all that is lingering in my mind.

"Where are you taking me, handsome?" She asked back, desire lingering in her orbs.

"Somewhere… a place where you can scream to the top of your lungs." I answered, looking down at her lips.

Those were still a bit swollen after what happened a moment ago.

"I would love to go to that place… a place where we can both scream." Sagot niya pabalik na ikinangisi ko.

"Alright. Let's go then." Saad ko bago isara ang pinto.

Nang maisara ko ang pinto, agad akong umikot sa driver's seat bago paandarin ang kotse.

Mabilis kong ipinatakbo iyon at napagisipan na sa aking condo unit ko ito dalhin. Masyadong tahimik sa bahay at ayoko munang pumunta roon.

I looked at her from time to time, her figure enticing me as she quietly focused on the road.

Nang makarating kami sa condo building, binuksan ko ang pinto and carried her bridal style as I made my way inside.

Heading towards the elevator, I pressed the up button and waited for the door to open.

"Ibaba mo ako." Utos nito, which made me glance at her.

"Not yet, sexy bunny." Sagot ko rito, her arms wrapped around my neck.

Ngumisi ito at walang alinlangan niyang inilapat ang kanyang labi sa akin. Tumugon ako rito ngunit naputol iyon nang tumunog ang elevator.

Pumasok kami roon at pinindot ang floor kung saan ako nakatira. Ilang minuto lang ay agad itong bumukas sa floor na tinutuluyan ko. I made my way down the hall and entered the passcode nang makarating sa front door.

Binaba ko ito and let her stand up as I opened the door, pulling her with me as I made my way inside.

Ngunit nang maisara ko ang pinto ay hinalikan na ako nito. Binalot nito ang mga braso niya sa batok ko while I held her cheek to deepen the kiss, my other hand turning the lock on the door.

Walang alinlangan ko itong binuhat, her legs wrapped around my waist as I made my way towards the room.

Napakainit ng kanyang bunganga habang hinahalikan ko ang kanyang labi. The vodka laced in her tongue as it interacted with mine.

Nang makapasok kami sa kwarto ay maingat ko siyang hiniga sa kama at walang alinlangan kong inilapat ang aking labi sa kanyang leeg that caused her to whimper.

The heat in my body was increasing as her arms were wrapped around me, her hands gripping my hair sexually.

My kisses trailed down from her neck to her shoulders, quickly marking those spots bago halikan muli ang kanyang labi. She unbuttoned my sleeves while my hands roamed around her body, locking them on her busts before kneading them sexually.

"Wait…" Saad nito habang hinahalikan ko ang kanyang labi.

Humingig ako bilang tugon before biting her lower lip, pulling myself away from the kiss.

Hingal na hingal kaming napatingin sa isa't isa habang nakatingin ako sa mga mata nito. Those eyes had me mesmerized for the first time I saw them.

"What is it? Ayaw mo ba?" I asked hoarsely, my eyes half opened.

"No, it's just that… you haven't told me your name yet." As soon as she said that, my body froze.

But I remained composed, trying hard to not make the anxiety be obvious to my actions.

"Just call me… Theo…" Saad ko as I was about to kiss her lips but she placed her hand on her mouth.

"What's wrong?" I asked, removing her hand away.

"I haven't told you my name yet…" Sagot niya, biting her lower lip.

Oh those luscious lips.

"Alright, sexy bunny. What's your name?" I asked, grazing the tip of my finger on her cheek.

"Corlyn…" She answered shyly, her eyes locked on mine.

I smirked. "Such a gorgeous name for a gorgeous lady like you…" I answered back before kissing her lips fully.

Dang it…
