Deanna looked at him with huge eyes and a bit of surprise. As he been standing on the wall just watching the interaction between everybody. She knew that a lot of what he did as a detective ways to observe people in their natural state. However, her surprise was not a complete surprise to him as well. He wasn't going to allow an innocent child to be put in a situation when they could easily step in and fix that situation for the toddler that was in front of them. It wasn't exactly what he had planned for when it came to the children being in his house, but at the exact same time, this was important to her, and therefore, it would be important to him as well. She would be exhausted from worry, and it was something that would be another new beginning good for them.
The social worker, on the other hand, is a different story. He had all the correct answers for her, and he knew how to play the system as well. The fact that he was a detective and Deanna
Max got to the house and open the front door, and just left it propped open, knowing that the social worker was only going to be a few minutes behind him. Luckily Deanna had done so much work in the house that it was nearly spotless as it was. Not that they had actually spent all that much time there except for the few times for bed. But Deanna had done a lot to make sure that the house was neat and tidy he normally did.The social worker knocked at the door and then began to come in as. She looked around and saw that everything had a place. Max wanted to be absolutely clear and honest with the fact that Deano had was moving in that particular weekend.“just so you know, you have free access; you can go anywhere that you want in the house. Right now, Deanna and I are moving her into the house completely, and we should be able to do that by tomorrow. We've been living together for a little while already. It was unnecessary for her to co
Max decided to go make a quick stop at the store in the town where they lived. He had never gone to the toddler and infant section before. He might have gone to that place action a few times to pick up toys for his friend's kids when they have birthdays or even small Christmas presents, but he really knew absolutely nothing when it came to, but others would need. Once he actually got into the store, he was completely overwhelmed with this section. There are more things on the wall for children to play with and everything else that he had absolutely nothing going on in his head. Any that Deanna would probably know what Henry actually needed, and right now, all he needed to do was get a car seat because they were going to be taking the child home.As he looked at the different types of car seats, he actually had no idea what the boy actually needed. He didn't know what size he was. He didn't even know what into line. And I stand that he had no idea w
Max got back to the hospital and pulled into a parking spot. Before he actually walked back into the emergency department, he took a moment to himself. It was the first time that you could actually sit back for a second and think about everything that had just gone on. He knew that he was going to be taking a whole new responsibility that he wasn't quite sure about. Life had certainly changed in the past week, and for some reason, he knew that it was only going to be better now. Kieso knew that this was what she wanted, and he could give it to her. Including the security of knowing that the two of them would be perfectly fine as Max would do anything for either of them now.He released the air now that was held in his lungs for a few seconds, and then he got out of the car and looked at the car seat that was laying down in the back seat and check his head a little bit. He was OK, and he was clearing his mind. He was surely in fo
Next, continue to drive while Deanna was looking at the baby in the back seat. Max is trying to figure out exactly what would the next step was going to be, and though when he went onto the street that she had said and she pointed to the large mansion at the end was rude. He didn't exactly know what he was in for. When the gates opened and he drove inside after Deanna had given him the pin number till the gate, he was hit with a memory of being at this address before. The more he thought about it, the more it became clear in his mind. Once he parked the car, he looked at her, and he was absolutely shocked. He had been called to this particular address because of a slight motor vehicle accident that had not resulted in any injuries at the time, but Deanna had been left in the car and wouldn't wake up. One of her sisters had called if he remembered correctly.“I knew you before,” Max said suddenly as he looked at her, and she was now extremely confused
Max knew they had one more stop to go to. They had to go get some supplies even though Deanna had rated her parent's house and got a lot of things for Henry already. He wasn't exactly sure of everything that he would need, but he did know that they didn't have anywhere for Henry to sleep, neither did they have anywhere to keep Henry at the university. So he made his way back to the store that he had left not long before. When he pulled into the parking lot, he just looked at Deanna, who was already dragging. She had gone through so much already with having to deal with seeing her family and then seeing her brother the way that he was. Then she had to go back to the house. She wasn't comfortable in there, and it was plain to see to Max that she was still a little nervous from having been in there at all.Surprisingly it wasn't like he was forgetting any part of the fact that Henry was there as well. It was just like a ready-made family that he wasn'
Max drove home. Diana was still trying to figure out everything that was going on in her own mind, and though she was rather quiet, he was trying to figure out what she was thinking about. They still had quite a few things that they needed to discuss everything that had just happened and probably everything that would happen. There were a few other things that he thought that he should bring up. The question about her IUD was starting to nag at him not because he felt that there was any reason to be upset if, for some reason, she ended up pregnant. However, he didn't want it to come back to him if she did, and she was upset because she thought she was covered by the IUD.The number one thing then he wanted to make sure was that they were completely open and honest with each other. The fact that he knew about one of those particular types of devices didn't necessarily mean that the one that she had was the same one. However, if he knew the informati
Deanna was looking at Henry very closely. She was lost in thought, and Max knew that he couldn't allow her not to talk. She had to get everything out, and she had to be the one to address certain things. So he wasn't actually surprised when he started to look at her very closely as well. She looked at him and continue the conversation of how much that Henry actually did look like her.“you're right,” she stated as she looked at him. There were a lot of things going through her mind, but she couldn't quite figure out how he was so much like her. She had always been the odd one out in her family, and she said as much.“I normally am, but what am I right about this time?” Max said as he looked at her. He wasn't trying to be a smartass. The fact was he normally was right. It was part of the job where he had to make split-second decisions sometimes, and so far, his instinct had never let him wrong.“Henry real
Max look better, and I was absolutely shocked that she even knew about the place. Most people had completely written it off and never thought about it again. Now he was concerned as to why her cousin, who is supposed to be nearly 16 years old, was in a place like that. It wasn't just the fact that now he was dealing with her cousin. He was also dealing with her son.The first time that he actually had gone to Winter Haven, it was one of the worst cases he had ever worked on, and it was also probably the second biggest that he had ever done. A lot of people had a lot of faith in him, and he didn't quite understand why at the time. He was able to move up the ranks rather quickly in the Police Department. OK, that was the benefit of actually working in a very small area. He was able to do all of the training and everything else a lot quicker because they didn't get a lot of calls. However, the downside to that was when they actually did get a c
The next few days Max was completely engrossed in going over the course from the beginning to the end. He had already rewritten at once and now he was going to make it more specific period he was already looking up case files and everything else that he could possibly do to get everything completely set. Though the paperwork Adam actually come in yet he was betting that it would any day now. He was OK with the fact that it wasn't totally official because he had the men’s word and his own captain's word working for him. He knew that they just had to make it more transferable on paper. He would leave that to them knowing that that was what it was going to be.the next few days he was also dealing with Deanna who is still in the middle of her grief. Though it seemed to hit her at random times it was still hitting her out of the blue. She was dealing with everything as she always did with her head held high even if she had tears in her eyes. She was really try
Max stop Deanna and the kids off at the university and then he went to the Academy. He knew that it wasn't going to take very long for him to go over everything. When he did get there he was ushered into their conference room and he passed out the folders to the three Deans of the different academies. He knew that that was going to be the number one thing that he had to do was make sure that he sold the program. He was good at selling himself as well. He had been doing it for years since he left the military. One of the things that he had to learn that in the civilian world it was his reputation that was going to get him very far. The fact that he had been in the military and woon did in battle wear something that people wanted to know about. So he had found a way to tell them without actually telling them anything. He had a normal way with words that was able to make the most complicated thing seem uncomplicated. That was also one of the reasons w
“what did she mean that it's part of the code?” Dana asked when they got into the car and Max had already started driving back to their house.“law enforcement spouses usually stick together. just like they say that there is a blue wall sometimes meaning that officers will stick with each other and not let the civilians know what really goes on. The same goes for their wives. Despite the fact that penny is also a part of it she is add detective wife. She knows all the rules in jazz who knows what it's like to be a new mom. And also have things surrounding you that you don't particularly want there. When they got married it was pretty rough. however I really didn't know them then I had only just heard what happened. It's not a pretty story but one day maybe I'll tell you. For right now just know that you always have her friend in her. So you can tell her anything that you need to plus she's a doctor so she can help out at times.” next said
Max had been surprised the entire night. Everybody had been on their best behavior when they actually saw Deanna standing next to him. And then of course the two kids. Henny was smiling like there was no tomorrow because she knew that he had finally gotten what he always wanted. Mac kept smiling too but it was for a different reason and Max knew that as well. This was definitely going to be one of those things that they were going to have to do frequently enough that Deanna needed to feel comfortable around them. He didn't actually believe that couples should have too many friends that were not other couples. He was kind of old fashioned in the way that he thought. She could have as many friends as she wanted that was perfectly fine but they would probably spend more time with other couples. It just seemed not to cause as many problems in any relationship. At least that was his view of it and like he knew he could learn something else.Mac was more
Max knew that he had to explain a few things on the way over to the other couples house. So he began to give them a rundown of everybody that was there including the kids. He also explained how him an Mac were friends to the point that it was like Max was one of their kids as well even though he was pretty much the same ages them. it was one of those interesting relationships that Max had filled his life with before he was able to deal with anything really personal. He also then began to explain slightly how they knew about her well before they had become a couple. “so just so you understand that they're going to probably be teasing me a lot and giving me a lot of crap. It's going to be because of you but that's OK.”“what do you mean it's because of me?” Deanna asked if she looked at him she was slightly surprised after being very amused with the way that he was explaining his friends to her. It wasn't like she had a
He meant what he said when he said he wanted to out and celebrate. It wasn't very often that he had the opportunity to spoil the woman that he loved and take his kids out at the same time period though he wasn't exactly short how that was going to work. So he decided that he was going to take them out for a nice meal when his phone began to ring. Halo down and saw that it was a person that he was actually just thinking about Mac Paulin who is another detective in one of the sister police precinct. They had worked a few cases together and they had also worked on a case that had basically changed Mac and his wife henni’s life for a little bit.Mac was one of maxs friends. He didn't really consider many people to be his actual friend but they had actually become rather good friends over the past few years. Henni where's the local medical examiner prefer one of the counties nearby. She also consulted with different police precincts as well.“What
Packing everybody up with a little bit easier and he knew that this would become a routine eventually. He knew that he was going to have them there for as long as he worked in the building. He grabbed his folders and put them in his briefcase and then gave Henry his bag. Henry just looked at him like he had completely lost his mind. “When it's time to go home I'm gonna give you this bag. And we're going to pack up the things that you want to take home with you. We can't come back to the university at night so we're going to make sure that we take everything that we want. Remember you have lots of toys at home as well so you can leave some things here. but I know that you wanna take bear and blankie with you.” Mac said as he looked at him and then he began to help Henry pick up the things that were the most important. “We're going to leave your bed in your sisters bed here so it's easier for mommy and me.”“DD is mommy?
Watching the man storm out of the room and go upstairs with something that Max was going to take huge amount of pride in doing. He was more than happy to sit back and wait for the repercussions to actually happen. None of that actually mattered to Max right now. The way that he had thought of it was it was going to be something that they were going to have to deal with anyway period now the fact that he possibly had another job waiting for him that was going to be better would be the absolute feather in his cap right now.that happened to be the moment that his phone rang right before Deanna could actually say something to him about what had just happened. “hello this is detective Anderson.” Max stated into the phone as he had an idea of what the number actually was. It wasn't the one that he had called before but it was a very similar number so he had to assume that it was a police Academy calling him back.“detective Ande
After about 10 minutes of trying to get around exactly what the man was saying Max had enough. He was absolutely just thoroughly enjoying the fact that the man was so flustered that Max kept coming back with something else. It was like none of the other professors actually never questioned him. Or the fact that he normally had a few students going into his office for a few hours every day period of course those particular students were young females who had no business going into the Dean of students for the department’s office period of course Max wasn't actually going to bring that up but he was alluding to it. The only female that he wanted in his office. Was the one who was sitting in the corner.he looked over to Indiana who was watching the whole thing trying not to laugh as she was continuing to fake read whatever she was reading. Max knew that the man was not gonna give up very easily. And of course then the veiled threats that his course was proba
