She had to get everything out, and she had to be the one to address certain things. So he wasn't actually surprised when he started to look at her very closely as well. She looked at him and continue the conversation of how much that Henry actually did look like her.
“you're right,” she stated as she looked at him. There were a lot of things going through her mind, but she couldn't quite figure out how he was so much like her. She had always been the odd one out in her family, and she said as much.
“I normally am, but what am I right about this time?” Max said as he looked at her. He wasn't trying to be a smartass. The fact was he normally was right. It was part of the job where he had to make split-second decisions sometimes, and so far, his instinct had never let him wrong.

Max looked at her, and she actually looked extremely guilty. It had nothing to do with his reaction, and he knew that because he wasn't reacting too much to her but the entire idea of that place. That was when the doorbell rang that had their food. Henry followed him, titling in his wake. He kind of laughed as he watched the little boy follow him. It wasn't something that he had anticipated being something that he would actually enjoy losing every bit of his privacy max didn’t care; however, knowing that the boy trusted him enough that there is going to be a lot less privacy in his life was something that he was actually going to really enjoy. He could already see things in his mind of being able to teach the boy how to do. And it was almost instantaneous for Max. Dana started to clean up the kitchen, and Max went into the office. And he pulled out his laptop and started to pull up the information and print it out. He sat back in his chair, and he thought about everything that had happened in the past couple of days, let alone the past couple of months. It seems that everything was cultivating right into this moment. Though he meant every word that he said, he didn't actually care about her birth control. They could easily change something if she wasn't ready to think about any part of this, and he understood that it was a brand new relationship. This wasn't something that most people thought about right off the bat. He knew that he was also the type of person that once he made up his mind, he had made up his mind that that was it.Max knew that Dana would need time to adjust to her new living situation. When he did get there he was ushered into their conference room and he passed out the folders to the three Deans of the different academies. He knew that that was going to be the number one thing that he had to do was make sure that he sold the program. He was good at selling himself as well. He had been doing it for years since he left the military. One of the things that he had to learn that in the civilian world it was his reputation that was going to get him very far. Max had been surprised the entire night. Everybody had been on their best behavior when they actually saw Deanna standing next to him. And then of course the two kids.
