Chapter 18 Go to the North

“Is everything alright, sweetheart, you look tired?” He asked and I waved off his concern, not wanting to stress him out during the election. We should be talking about my wolf or the north, not how school was going for me. My mom’s look also turned concerned as they awaited my response. I couldn’t bear to tell them about my wolf now, there were more important things to worry about. The north never contacted the south this way, it was odd.

“Yes, don’t worry.” I said simply and then continued. “Tell me, why are we going to the north?”

My parents looked alleviated and they glanced at each other with so much love in their eyes. It saddened me that I may never have a mate the way I should, with my wolf.
