Alyssa's POV.

All I could think of was how to reach the pack safely.

My whole body was hurt and the shivering refused to stop, the wounds kept on hurting like crazy.

My eyes were blurry and my vision was hazy, it was almost impossible for me to see anything clearly at that moment.

The cold air felt as if it cut right through every part of me. I was shivering hard, shaking uncontrollably.

I didn’t dare try to move, or to even let out a sound, just in case I would give away where I hid.

After a while, a loud rustling started coming closer to me.

I held my breath and pressed myself against a tree to make sure they wouldn't notice me. My hands shook violently.

Tears rolled down my cheeks, making their way along the dirtied skin.

My body shook so bad it caused me to stumble and fall flat on my face.
