Natalie

Natalie looked at herself. The dress had arrived and Natalie had donned it.

Her eyes were dark and she had no light in them.

Being a bride wasn’t something she had ever dreamed of. Yes, she wanted brides to feel the best on their most special day, but when it comes to oneself, she always wanted to be with someone who will make her smile, who will make her happy, who will understand her, and yet, she was stuck with God knows whom, with her life not in her control.

She thought about Theodore. She had never planned a future with him, but now all of her thoughts were wandering to him. She had betrayed him, in one or other way.
