Natalie

Natalie remembered how she felt leaving Theo alone. His father and brother were there, but it was dangerous for him to be here.

“What about Theo?” She asked William as they were exiting.

He looked at her with a puzzled expression. “Do you really care? Or is it just your guilt that you have put all of us in danger?”

Natalie didn’t retort, because Willliam was right. She had indeed been selfish. It was one thing to run away from Theodore, but it was different to run in the arms of his enemy without knowing the truth.
