CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND _  TEN 

SALLY'S POV

I waited and waited patiently for Alpha Derek to return from the meeting, but it seemed like it was taking forever. Whenever I would hear footsteps from outside the door, I would get excited only for my hope to fall. I was getting bored staying all alone in the room. I would have gone to Sarah's room, but it was late, I may be bothering her, also alpha Derek may not like it.

He may not be too comfortable with my over-closeness with Sally but wouldn't know how to come out with it and tell me. I would lie in bed, roll around, stand up, pick up my phone, and drop it. I did a whole lot of things, including counting one to one hundred up to five times, yet alpha Derek was nowhere to be found.

I wasn't feeling sleepy one bit. Even if I did feel sleepy, I wouldn't sleep without alpha Derek. I wanted to open the door for him when he would return home, read his facial expression, hug him, and hear him out in case he needed someone to talk to.
