SALLY'S POV I sneaked out of my hiding place and hurried back to my room. I have already heard all I wanted to, and there was no need to stay there anymore. I lay in bed facing the ceiling as I thought about what had just happened in the meeting room. There was only one person who would be able to help me right now, to put an end to all of these, the only person that would be able to help me was Lisa, and she was already imprisoned. I knew that Lisa was smart, although she was promiscuous, it wouldn't take the fact that she was really smart and knows all the happenings in the pack house because she has eyes all over, and also knows all the nook and cranny of the pack house. She would be able to give me information about the pack house. The fact that she was in prison wouldn't stop her from knowing things. The way she had sneaked into my room, not just once but twice to cause harm to me. No ordinary woman would do so, and if alpha Derek hadn't thought about coming to the room that d
SALLY'S POV I intentionally woke up very early, I took my bath quickly and very gently, in order not to make any noise. I changed my clothes and sneaked out of the house. It was only a few minutes after four AM. Almost everyone in the pack was still asleep, except the hard-working set ants who intentionally woke up early to do their chores. I sneaked out of the room with a black head tie and tried around my head to help hide my identity. I walked slowly and steadily to Lisa's dungeon. I tried not to make any noise or any sound to attract attention to myself or to wake anyone up. The guards who guarded the dungeon were partly asleep. I walked straight to Lisa's dungeon, I was dressed in complete black without a sandal on so it would be very difficult to see me. I tapped the guard in front of Lisa's dungeon and closed his mouth tightly immediately. I didn't want Jim to make any noise on sighting me. He opened his eyes and trembled in my arms, I didn't say anything I only smiled broadl
SALLY'S POV "What did you just say?" I asked Lisa, not because I didn't hear her correctly the first time, but because I couldn't believe my ears. "Yes, Sally, I never loved him. It was all an act. The plan was to get close to him so I could bring him down. I will never forget how he wiped my whole family for no reason", she cried. My eyes and mouth were wide open as I watched on unbelievably. I knew Alpha Derek wiped an entire generation a whole lot of times, and most of the time it was in self-defense, other times they brought the battle to him, or they attacked his pack members. But him killing black werewolves, so heartless of him! I had thought we all agreed that killing black werewolves was a crime, they already thought we see them as inferior werewolves, and we need not make them feel worse anymore. "__ What was their crime?" I asked Lisa. "He needed more servants, dark pack needed more domestic servants because he had killed almost all of them due to some little crimes
ALPHA DEREK'S POV I woke up feeling a little bit relieved. Yesterday was so hectic, and today I'm waking up feeling very refreshed. I stood up and walked into the shower. I had already finished bathing and freezing up when I realized Sally was nowhere in the room. I decided to wait for her, hoping she had stepped out for a bit, to get something, or was with Sarah. But after waiting for more than thirty minutes and she was back I became a bit worried. I tried to convince myself that she was with Sarah, and that was it. I tried to tell myself that they probably were already too engrossed in their discussion, and that was why she wasn't back yet. I heard a light knock on the door. I stood up reluctantly, dragging my feet towards the door, to see who it was that wanted to break my door. Although the knock was very light, I still got angered and interpreted that the person by the door wanted to break it. This was because I was already angry. I got to the door and turned the door hand
SALLY'S POV Even though I was only very little when I last visited my pack house, it wasn't hard for me to locate it once again. I fell to the ground and began to cry uncontrollably. I looked around the deserted pack house, the bodies of those who were killed had been rusted, and the buildings were still the way they were after the battle. Partly broken, partly fallen, and partly raised. "I had made a promise to you all in the past that I was going to avenge your death, and now that I know who the peep is I wouldn't hesitate to wipe them all away. I will surely avenge the death of my own and nobody would stop me", I said and wiped my tears. I stood up to my feet and looked around the place. I wanted to howl but if I did alpha Derek would recognize where I was and wouldn't hesitate to come to find me. I didn't want anyone to know where I was, and I was sure the guard at the dungeon and Lisa wouldn't give me away. If they did, they will only get themselves into trouble and they s
SALLY'S POV I blamed the moon goddess for choosing Alpha Derek as my mate and vowed never to have anything to do with him. I wondered why she chose the alpha Derek of all men in the world to be my mate. Well this time around, I will kill my mate and marry someone else. If my destiny was to end up with alpha Derek then I was ready to rewrite it. I would never have anything to do with the same man that wiped my generation. To think that I was going to ask Lisa to forgive alpha Derek and move on, if anyone asked me to do the same I would punch him hard in the face. If I was killed on that day then my lineage would be wiped, there would be no one to continue the lineage of the pack, and none of my generations would be in existence. I picked up my dolls, wiped them, and packed them all together. I tidied my bed, dusting it thoroughly. I bent down and began clearing the floor. Although the house would remind me so much of my past, and the things that I didn't want to remember, it was
ALPHA DEREK'S POV I sent my guards all over the pack house, and when they returned without any news, it became obvious that she wasn't in the pack house. What amazed and scared me more was that no one saw her leaving the pack house. I just hoped that she hadn't died in a corner of the pack house or gotten kidnapped by my enemies because they wouldn't spare her no matter what I did. They would kill her, knowing full well it would break me, and my heart would start beating, at the news of her death. I decided to wait for the abductors to call for ransom, and when I heard no news from anyone, I decided to take the bull by the horn and visit the moonlight pack. I was scared all along, that the moonlight pack would hold me if I go there to ask about their missing child and she wasn't there. But what was the point of hiding it? They must have found out by now, and if Sally was there, then they would think I'm careless and would never give their daughter to me again. I dressed up early
SALLY'S POV I looked down at the fruit I bought, I was too hungry to return it, but that was the only option. I stretched my hand towards her to return the nylon of fruit to her, then I realized that I had already even bitten one of the fruits open without knowing it. I tried to open my mouth but the words weren't forming. "Hey, woman! Are you a thief?" She shouted at me, and I feared that she might decide to do something nasty. "Ma'am, please I have. I have come to the market empty handed and I do not have a dime to pay for your fruit. I am so hungry, and I promise to pat you once I finish eating this fruit and acquire enough energy to return to my house to get money", I said quickly. I didn't think about what I had said before saying it. I just spilled words like a complete idiot, and the way the woman stared at me was evident that she thought I must be a psycho. The aggressive look on her face and her squeezed brows were evidence that she didn't like me one bit, and she wa
