CHAPTER EIGHTY SEVEN

SALLY'S POV

I turned around abruptly, and Alpha Derek did the same. I expected this. I knew that my mom wouldn't just let Alpha Derek and I leave the pack house like that. She would come after us and stop us from leaving.

"Mom," I called emotionally, as I hurried back to catch up with her. She had opened the door, called me back, and stood in front of the door waiting for me.

I rushed to her and hugged her passionately.

"We can't let him take you away from us," Mom said, still hugging me tightly.

"I can't go away from you either," I replied.

"Let's go in and talk," Mom urged as she began pulling my hand.

"Stop!" I said as I stopped abruptly and turned around to look at Alpha Derek. He was still standing at the spot. "I can't go in without him, I mean, there is no way I am leaving him here, right?" I asked Mom.

"I will be uncomfortable with him around me," Mom replied, and I scoffed.

"So you are suggesting I go in and just leave him here? Of course, you know that can't happe
