Chapter 335 Something Feels Off

Nathan drove Eva and the children back to Langley Manor at 6:30 pm.

Old Mr. Langley, Robert, and Rebecca were seated on the sofa and chatting. When they saw Nathan and his family arrive, they smiled and welcomed them.

Robert carried Max happily in his arms.

“Let me have a look. Has my grandson gotten taller?”

“Of course, I have!”

Max laughed and hugged Robert’s arm. “Mia has grown taller too, Grandpa. Look.”

He turned to look, but Mia had already run to hug Old Mr. Langley.

“I missed you so much, Great-grandpa.”

Her voice was sweet as sugar, and Old Mr. Langley smiled so much that his eyes creased. He rubbed her head gently and kept nodding.

There were snacks and sweets on the table. Rebecca smiled gently as she gave them to the children.

Nathan and Eva smiled as they sat at the side.

Everyone began chatting happily. Max was telling Robert about his exciting moment during the national tournament and how he had won the championship. His big eyes shone when he talked about it
