Eva quickly put the glass down and began retching again.

She felt awful.

Once she finally stopped, Eva felt much more comfortable. She picked up the glass to gargle again.

Eva looked at her pale face and gently brushed through her hair.

This was morning sickness.

However, she had just found out she was pregnant. This was all a little too early.

After Eva cleaned herself up, Yelena could not help asking worriedly, “Should I get you a doctor, Mrs. Langley?”

“It’s fine.”

Eva walked to the sofa and fell onto it. “Just get me a glass of milk.”

She did not want to see a doctor.

Yelena quickly poured her a glass of milk and quietly observed Eva’s face. She remembered what had caused Eva’s retching and could not help smiling.

“Are you pregnant, Mrs. Langley?”

Eva raised an eyebrow.

Yelena was an older woman who had life experience. She could tell with one look.

“Yes.”

She nodded heavily and gently reminded Yelena, “Please don’t tell anyone about this.”
