Chapter 287 Won’t Go Easy On You

Nathan felt much happier with the children's and Eva’s gentle comfort.

“I’m to blame for this.”

He held the children in each hand and kissed them on the forehead gently. “I shouldn’t come home in a bad mood just because I had a bad day at the office. I’ll be more careful next time.”

“It’s fine.”

Eva smiled warmly at him. “Home is where you’re able to vent. It’s your shelter from the storm outside. Where else can you vent your bad mood if not with your family?”

She suddenly stopped talking at this point.

She coughed awkwardly and turned to walk into the kitchen. “You just came home, and I have a lot of spare time tonight. I’ll cook dinner for everyone.”

“Yay! Mommy is cooking!”

The children cheered and sat on the sofa obediently to wait for her.
