Nathan showed Eva the invitation after receiving it.

“Do you want to go?" He looked at her in concern. “I can reject the invitation if you don’t feel like going.”

It was not his grandfather's or father’s party. This was just Sue Evans.

They were not obligated to attend the party.

When she saw how nonchalant he was about this, Eva shook her head in exasperation.

“Let’s attend it together on that day.”

She was his wife now, and she could not avoid such things forever.

Eva would need to face all this one day.

Nathan smiled when Eva accepted the invitation. There was a happy glint in his eye.

Eva smiled and said to him, “By the way, I’ll prepare her birthday present. I’ll put together some flowers personally and deliver them to Sue.”

They would need flowers and flower baskets as decorations for the party.

Nathan and Sue were considered from the same generation, and it was difficult to get an appropriate gift for her. Flowers seemed like a good idea.
