Trish had told me that she noticed some sounds coming from Matthew’s office while I was in there after a few minutes and she turned on some music, telling the other women in the office that she was looking for good runway songs when she was really trying to cover up any noises Matthew and I made.

I was glad that at least someone in the office knew about us and had our backs to keep it private.

I laughed when she told me, and we continued playing a few more songs after that - I didn’t want her to stop playing the music as soon as I exited the office, everyone would know what was up then.

Matthew and I said ‘I love you’ to each other that day and it was incredible. He said it first, too! He was in a state of ecstasy and the words just flooded out of him. I was shocked at first because it was so soon, but I knew deep down that I had been falling for him since I first laid eyes on him at the club, my feelings only deepening with every passing day with him.
