Crystal’s POV
I scanned our surroundings and numerous of these flowers nearby. My brows furrowed as a question lingered in my mind: if this plant was so common here, why had Rizza been missing for so long trying to find it?
I bit my lip, and tried to shake off the worst-case scenario playing out in my head. I kept denying it, but reality was proving me wrong each passing moment.
I felt my knees wobble while walking, and my hands tremble. Had I sent Rizza on a suicide mission without properly assessing the dangers she could encounter while searching for this flower? What other mistakes had I made in my decisions?
