Amber merely glanced at her before averting her gaze.

After all, it was none of her business how Penny chose to live her life.

She did not bother starting a conversation and instead walked up to the higher-ups waiting for her. They entered the elevator together.

She hailed a cab and returned to Dawn Haven Villa, where she immediately fell asleep.

Lucy did not dare ask much about her absence last night.

After all, Penny had never been a fan of Dawn Haven Villa in the past.

She went to make Penny more nourishing chicken noodle soup.
