Chapter 500 I’d Be Fine With It, If It Were You

The next day, Penny had just finished going through all the documents she needed to go through at Sullivan Corporation when she received a call from Zach.

Zach invited her out for a coffee at a high-end cafe.

Before Penny left, she dropped a reminder to Yvette’s lawyers to either hurry up and face her in court or pay what was owed.

She would not let her off the hook for what she had done to the painting.

Then, she went to the cafe.

Zach had obviously put a lot of thought into his outfit. He immediately got to his feet when he saw her.

“Penny.”

Penny nodded and acknowledged his presence. Before she got to speak, she heard him say, “I’d be fine with it, if it were you.”

Zach was not a domineering man. He was more on the gentler side. His gentleness reminded Penny of someone else.

As the memories washed over her, she sat quietly, stunned.

Then, Zach said the exact same thing as the other person had once said to her.
