Chapter 29

Almost the entire population of the Abasia Kingdom was present. Seated in the middle of the space, being a large table, were members of the tribunal. Each of them wore a light green uniform with long sleeves and long pants.

Their faces were all stern and expressionless. Princess Diana tried not to look too long at King Abasiama Ekpeyon, the king of Abasia Kingdom sitting among them. He was sitting in the middle of all. As the king of the land, he was not dressed in the same clothes as other members of the tribunal had done. Place before every tribunal were piles of books.

Only gods knows what those books contained. Probably the list of people that have been executed or received a judgment for their misdeeds. But not everyone is always guilty of the crimes he or she is accused of. No appeal. I don't think no judge served here, I mean this spot has been reviewed and overturned. Whether you are innocent or you are been pronounced guilty here and it goes the other way around sometimes.
