Alpha Riley

“ The Vernes pack agreed to their loyalty to us. Alpha Ysmael bowed down and will cooperate in our expansion against the land of the devil. It will only take us time until we pissed off all of those bastards who question our throne. Their pack provides the best training and we’ll make sure that the weak warrior of every pack that we own will receive proper training. In the meantime, let’s cool down for a whole month at most.”

Alpha Zach stopped wiping his blade and looked up to meet my gaze. “ Cool down?” he smirked at my words.

The distance between us is not enough for me to shove my fist into his waiting jaw.

“ You’ve got a problem with that?” I replied with so much annoyance that is ready to explode in my head.

Alpha Zach rose to his feet and before I knew it, he had already thrown his blade in my direction. It’s a good thing that I caught it with one hand. And the blood that is dripping out of my palm is also a good thing for me to feel everything.

It didn’t bother me. No. The blood and pain only show how much I can handle everything.

“Nice catch,” he grinned as I throw the blade back in his direction, silently aiming at his head, but the devil caught the blade before it can even touch the strand of his hair.

I hissed when he threw a bottle. It’s the antidote to the poison that he poured over his blade. Alpha Zach is known to use his blade for everything. Our bullet is made of special orbs that allow rogues and werewolves to be killed in just one bullet. While her blade is made by the legend metalsmith and he has a collection of poison that he uses to kill his victims.

Witty. And dangerous.

We heard a silent hissed, and I snorted when I saw Alpha King. He is busy reading a book. I don’t know what fascinates him aside from blood rather than his compilation of non-fiction books.

“One month is enough vacation for the three of us, huh?” he mocked before putting down his book in his most gentle way.

Alpha King only cares for his books.

“Come on, we’ve been working hard. I wanted to travel and not see the both of your faces for a whole fucking month. Besides, I was told that you needed to do something.”

It's my time to grin and mocked when I saw how his brows furrowed at the mention of what he needed to do. Alpha King hates commitment, but ironically, he cares for only one person. He cares for a child who he saves from the rogues’ attack.

He’s not really evil. Well, before.

“Don’t fucking do something and don’t get killed,” he mentioned, and I grinned to myself, hearing those exact words that he used to give for our mission.

Alpha King, Alpha Zach and I needed to not trust each other, but we merely build this foundation inside this circle of us. Trust is misogyny for us. We don’t trust each other, we’re loyal and deep-rooted for each other that we’ll do anything.

That’s the rule. One man dies and you offered him your hand, but one tri-alpha dies and you’ll offer him your life.

Alpha Zac merely shrugged before continuing his action. If he’s addicted to wiping his blades, maybe others won’t be needing to see his other addiction.

Women. His addiction to women and playing with their bodies is enough to conclude just how dangerous he can be. He loves to instill fear and violence the most. That’s why he has his entire room like a playroom for his addiction.

“ I’m off,” I muttered as I strode to my room and prepare the things that I need. One month is enough to make myself strong and not let another woman like Chandrel be my weakness.

Fuck. Her name sounds like foreign but her lips taste like a familiar feeling of home. That barn will be use as my house for one month. Besides, I needed to do more digging about her. Being cautious about anyone is my top priority.

“You’d think about all of these,” Alpha Zach muttered.

He’s leaning into the doorframe of my room and I had the urge to throw him my entire closet because of his stubbornness.

What does he think he’s doing? He’s getting on my nerves and the idea of killing him is enough to satisfy my needs.

“Don’t you want it? You have one entire month alone in this mansion. You can do anything, like literally anything.” I had to wiggle my brow because I knew exactly what he will do.

This man is a beast. And in one month, this mansion will hear screams from its victims. He looks awful as he gave me his glare and turned around to go away.

However, Alpha Zach looked at me with a smug face. “Just so you know, she’s kinda hot,” he mocked, and I was stunned.

My throat felt dry as I looked at him. “W-What?”

“ Hmmm,” he said before walking away and whistling to himself.

Fuck. It can’t be, right? Chandrel and I only had two meetings and its impossible for him to know about her.

Fucking hell.
